Did da 48 hour fast and then started OMAD

So for the Easter break I decided that I would do a fast so at 17:00 on Thursday the 2nd April 2026 I stopped eating to start a fast! I was planning on doing a 4 day fast BUT as I had a lot of work to do I ended the fast after 48 hours so that I could spend Sunday and Monday getting stuff done at my flat as I am getting it ready to sell an it is a long way from ready still!

I started the fast at 106.6 kgs and by Saturday when I broke the fast I was down to 104.3 kgs. My weight then went up again due to going on One Meal A Day (OMAD) from Saturday at 17:00.

I have found the OMAD to be pretty easy to be honest as it is not a lot different to my usual intermittent fasting when I ate anywhere from 12:00 – 16:00 anyway depending how I felt an what I was doing that day. I found that when I was in the office I can easily go until 15:00-16:00 before eating anyway so waiting to eat until 17:00 is not that different! When at home I have found it a bit harder to fast as there is food in the house and pretty much any time I go in the flat my parents are eating!

My weight steadily rose from 104.5 kgs on Sunday to 105 kgs on Thursday before dropping yesterday when it went down to 104.9 kgs  then this morning (11/04/2025) when I was down to 103.9 kgs so I have dropped an impressive 2.7 kgs in just over a week with very little difficulty at all!

I think the massive jump yesterday was due to drinking very little all day yesterday really an I ate less in my eating window than I have been too!
