Sunday 08/03/2026

Steps = 17280 Steps

This morning I got up and forgot to weigh-in again as I got straight on with finishing off the shed build and filling the shed up with all the crap from the front of the garage. This took until about 14:00 and I then decided to ride back to Bath as I had to work in the office in the morning!

I rode the off road way so it took longer but was way more fun 🙂

I was surprised how easy the ride was as I was doing hills that last time I rode had me blowing out of my arse on Turbo mode and today I was 3/4 of the way up before I realized that I was not in turbo at all 🙂 The off road bits were super wet and muddy which made it hard going but really fun and then when I got to the 2 tunnels there was a race on so it was super busy with all the extra runners from the race plus all the usual Sunday users so it was pretty hectic and I got slowed down a lot by people taking up the whole path for no reason there than they are the only people who exist! 🙁

When I got home I showered and then put all my cycling clothes in the wash and then got them dry over the evening.

By the time I was done for the day I was on a massive 17280 Steps for the day 🙂

Monday 09/03/2026

Weight = N/A

Steps = 3963

This morning I woke up about 6:30 and then showered and got dressed and then rode the ebike to the office for a 7:00 start 🙂 I then worked in the office until about 15:00 when I headed back to the flat and worked from the flat until 22:00 when I went to bed.

By the end of the day I had only done 3963 steps and ebiked about 3.5 miles all day 🙁

Tuesday 10/03/2026

Steps = 8257 Steps

This morning I woke up at 6:30 again and showered and got dressed and ebiked into the office again where I worked until 11:30 when I headed home as I was on a 1/2 day today. All afternoon I spent cleaning and organizing my flat which is a tip. I fully cleaned the bathroom and also emptied and deep cleaned the lounge as well and did a quick tidy up of the kitchen too. The lounge and bathroom are looking great so I now need to empty and clean the bedroom and hall cupboards and then I should be ready to washdown and paint the flat before putting it on the market to sell!  I have decided to take Tuesday – Friday off next week so that I can get some momentum on sorting the flat without being distracted with work! I have also booked a tip run on Wednesday Morning to clear a lot of the crap away too.

Once I was done cleaning I had to wait for my food shop to arrive between 21:00-22:00 and then I went to sleep.

Wednesday 11/03/2026

This morning I got up at 6:30 again and showered, got dressed and headed into the office again! I worked until 11:30 as planned and then headed home to wait for my son to come and pick me up and drive me to my parents so we could start organising the soon to be dry room in the front of the garage, BUT he had apparently hurt his neck so couldn’t come so I worked from home in the afternoon and then did a bit of organising and then chilled the rest of the evening and got my stuff ready to ride back to my parents in the morning.

By the end of the day I was again on a paltry 4223 Steps for the day again and another 3.5 mile ebike ride to and from the office!

Thursday 12/03/2026

Steps = 8901  Steps

This morning I woke up at 5:00 and then got dressed in my riding clothes and then headed out on the ebike to ride to my parents house. I decided to go the off-road way home which turned out to be a bit of a crappy idea as I got a puncture about 3 miles from home and had to push the bike the last 2 miles as the tyre was too flat to ride the bike any more as the rim was on the floor 🙁

When I got home I was about 15 minutes late for my planned 7:30 start but it was all good as there was not much to report from the nightly builds which was nice 🙂 I then cracked on and worked until 12:00 when I went to bed for 2 hours to recover from the ride over and then worked until just after 16:00 when I called it a day from work.

At about 18:00 I headed to Bath in my parents car and then chilled for the rest of the day.

Friday 13/03/2026

Steps = 4432 Steps

This morning I woke up at 5:00 and showered and got dressed and then loaded some stuff in the car and then drove to my parents house! The drive was a nightmare as I was stuck behind different people driving 40 mph ALL THE WAY 🙁 Not sure if everyone was still asleep, worried about the wind or just worried that it was Friday the 13th but it was annoying and every time I got rid of one I got stuck behind another almost straight away 🙁

I then worked from my parents from 6:30-16:00 with a 2 hour break that I spent in bed as I had done my 3-12-30 at about 8:30 so was a bit tired.

At 16:30 I got out of bed and fixed the puncture on the ebike which was made more difficult as my work stand was at the flat in Bath so I had to turn the bike upside down and work on it from the floor which was not as easy as with a work stand!

After that I chilled as I need to get things sorted here tomorrow as I want to bring my bed here next week if I can!

By the end of the day I had only managed 4432 steps WITH the 3-12-30 which is not great at all! My back was also hurting again from lying on the mattress on the floor again or maybe the 3-12-30 or more than likely both!

Saturday 14/03/2026

This morning I woke up at at almost 7 am and decided that I wasn’t going to go for an ebike ride and would instead empty and sort out the front of the garage and I will get the mud/bike room sorted so that I can get all the bikes in there out of my bedroom to give me enough room to fit my bed next week!

I then chilled and watched videos on YouTube and wrote this post to get up to date on my training diary before starting sorting the front of the garage out!

While I was chilling I decided that I need to structure my time better and I have decided that I am not going to do the 3-12-30 at the weekends any more as my body needs time to recover and at the moment I am not giving it time to do that so I need to prioritize that! So from this week I am going to do the 3-12-30 Monday – Friday and then rest at the weekend. this week will be a bit difficult as I will be spending a lot of my time in Bath organizing the flat but From the week after I can do that. Especially as I hope to have my bed at my parents so I can sleep there all the time!

Next week I want to also get ALL of my stuff out of the flat and to my parents house so that I am not stuck in the limbo I have been in since October where 1/2 of my stuff is at the flat and 1/2 is at my parents house!

With the bed and the rest of my bedroom furniture out of the flat it will be much easier to wash it down and paint through to get it ready to get up for sale too!

The mud/bike room took until about 13:00 to insulate the ceiling and get it emptied and fill it up with the bikes:

It is a bit basic at the moment but I am going to head to my flat soon and grab the gym flooring to put down to make it easier to clean and also nicer to stand on in socks or bare feet too 🙂 I also need to grab all of my parts bins and bring them and the shelves that I store them on as well to go next to the shoe rack. I am shocked that everything fits in there nicely. Unfortunately my dad wanted his wine out there which are in the space where I was going to put my tools but that’s fine. Most of my bike stuff is now in one place and out of the way 🙂
