I woke up before my alarm at 5am this morning and weighed myself and I was pleased to find out that I am now under 105kgs for the first time in ages at 104.8kgs.
To be honest I thought that I would have lost more weight as I was walking all week although I was drinking coke again at the end of the week so I guess that didn’t help.
I then got dressed and went out for my morning walk. I felt really good while I was walking so I guess that walking so much last week has has been beneficial. Also the walk up the hill to the BMX track yesterday must have helped too. I am thinking that I may start walking to the track in the mornings while it is still light in the mornings then I can get my walk in AND ride my bike at the same time. My back felt ok on the bike yesterday so I think I can start to ramp up my bike time ready to start training properly next month.
My walk this morning was 4.35 miles and took 1h 9 minutes and was 8705 steps which is fine as I am going into town after work so I will be well over 10000 steps by the end of the day.
I had to go into the office in the afternoon so I took the bike in as it was faster and then had to rush back at 5pm to get my son ready as we had to be in town by 6pm.
We walked into town and my knee gave way walking down some stairs so the walk there and back was not fun as my knee was not totally back in place until I got home and led down and it then cracked back into position!
I am planning to get up at 5:30 as normal to see how my knee is and decide then if I go for a walk or not.
I finished the day with 17845 steps so again well over the 10000 target.
