Weigh-in shock!

So this morning I woke up at 5 am and did my weigh-in as normal and was shocked to see that I am up to 109.7 kgs!!! so up 1.8 kgs from the end of last week! This has to be due to added muscle weight from the rucking and also added water weight as I am drinking way more water now than I was but I will have to keep an eye on this to make sure that it starts going down again!

I decided not to ruck this morning as it was raining hard and I am off this afternoon and will have the dog visiting so I can take her for a walk  this afternoon to get the majority of my steps in then go out for a walk when my parents go home as well. I also have a bit of a dodgy stomach again today so I may have to get as many steps done on the treadmill as possible today! I will start on the treadmill after my last meeting at 10 am and try and get an hour and a half in before I finish.

Other than the shock of the weight increase I am super happy with the clean flat and way less stressed by it too 🙂 I have just stripped the bed off to wash the bedding too so once the bed is remade with clean bedding I will be super happy again 🙂 I am feeling pretty strong and healthy other then the slight stomach issues still so I am hoping to be able to get the rest of the week’s training done without issues this week. I am not too bothered about missing the ruck today as I will be missing Tuesday and Thursday Rucks from next week anyway to go to the gym so its not a massive deal! I just need to make sure that I get the ruck’s in tomorrow and Friday and also do a long ruck on Saturday too then I will be good!

I have this weeks shopping arriving this morning between 7:30 and 8:30 so I will then have food and vitamin drinks for the week!

I was watching a video online and saw that in some country’s they only eat sweets on Saturday’s so I may try doing this as well to see if I can make sweets a weekly treat instead of an every day treat to cut my consumption and also make it more enjoyable! Once it is just once a week habit it then makes it way easier to stop too. During the week I will replace sweets with fruit so I will replace refined sugar with natural sugar and the fruit will hopefully help with the constipation (and pile)  that I got last time that I went fully carnivore.

After the success of doing a massive deep clean last night while I was on call I think that I will do this every week and then add in a 30 minute clean every night after work to make the deep clean faster next week! I really need to start to de-clutter the flat, garage and shed too as that will really improve my quality of life as at the moment everything is bursting at the seams with stuff that I don’t use and I can’t find anything that I need. I plan to bin most of my stuff off and then if I need something I will have to wait for a new one to arrive! I also need to start selling off as many of the bikes as I can to get rid of as many unwanted ones as possible. Later today I will grab the GT from the container and get that built up and online to sell and I need to get the Cult Cruiser frame on ebay to sell and also break down the StayStrong as well to sell off the parts that I don’t need. I also need to get the StayStrong hubs up for sale too as that is £300 sat doing nothing!

I am also thinking that I will get rid of my son’s Supercross and get my other Curtis back for him to ride and for me to use as my sprints/ training bike as well.

I have just been outside and found one of my Axolotls on the floor by the back door! No idea how it got out of the pond or how it got the 20m to where I found it to be honest! I have got it in a tub in the lounge at the moment and I will keep it in there for a week or so to feed it up and make sure that it is OK then I will stick it back into one of the ponds outside again!

The Axolotl seems to be fine and is moving around normally and I can’t see and wounds which would show it was grabbed by a cat or a bird and the water levels in both ponds are normal so I am a bit confused as to how it got to be walking around in the garden! Luckily it had been raining all night so it was kept moist at least!
