I woke up and had a weigh in and I am up to 108.3kgs so I most definitely need to start doing more walking to try and get that under control.

I have decided that I will try and reach at least 8000 steps a day while I am hurt to keep a bit active but not over do it. I also need to learn how to walk slower as at the moment I walk really fast which is not good for my stomach and also not too good for fat burning as looking at today’s walking I got out of fat burning (stage 2 training for the last part of my walk yesterday:

In total I did 8271 steps (5.97 km or 3.7 miles) walking to work and back and then the usual walking around during the day. Actually on my way home I stayed more in the fat burning zone as I was hot and tired and my stomach was hurting:

From walking to and from work today I have decided to change up my wardrobe as wearing black t shirts in the summer is a really bad idea so when I got home I bought a pack of 5 royal blue t-shirts as they will not be so hot but can still be washed with the dark washing to save having to do split loads of washing.

I have also got a shockingly high energy bill so I have decided that I am going to start working in the office every day to get my energy use down significantly. I am also going to shower at the gym in the morning so that will cut the usage down even more as I have an electric shower which uses a lot of electric when it is running so this should help too.

I am thinking about starting light weights sessions so that I can work out and get fitter but not hurt my hernia any more so by doing light weights and high reps this should not affect it too much and will help to stay in shape. It should also help with the weight loss.

In order to be in the office all day I will need to get way more organised with my food prep which again is a good thing and will help with not spending money and also eating more healthily too.

I am thinking that I will take water from home each day and also 2 overnight oats to eat during the day then I can eat the fruit from the office if I still feel hungry!

I have deliveries Tuesday and Wednesday so I will work from home but I am planning to start the gym/ working from the office from Thursday I think.

I may just do half days in the office this week and next week and then the week after as well and then the week after that I am on holiday so when I get back from Holiday I will start going to the office full time again.
