Woke up and did my morning Weigh-in and I am back up over 108kgs at 108.1kgs which is disappointing but not unexpected as I have done literally nothing fir the past week 🙁 Worse still my stomach is still feeling the same so its not looking like it is a pulled ab and more like a hernia 🙁
I have decided that I am going to start getting up at 5am and walking before work again as I need to control my weight even though it is not totally pout of control at the moment I think that I need to get it under control before I am totally over weight and out of shape again.
I am also going out of my mind with boredom from not doing anything for a week so hopefully the walking will help curb my craving to ride my bike for the next 2 weeks of rest!
I ordered a new set of Onyx disk hubs yesterday so that I can get the Pure running on disk wheels and then start to build up the Supercross so that I have the option of riding it if I want to. Although I plan to ride the 20″ more after the last Nationals so I may hold off on building up the Supercross until next year. My 20″ is just missing a bottom bracket and seat to be usable so I will try and get these bought once I get paid on the 15th.
I have decided that until I know what my stomach issue is I will work on re-building my healthy habits that I had before I started training a lot at the beginning of the year. I have noticed that I am using my phone a lot again at the moment to the detriment of exercising and being healthy as well as learning new skills for work! For the past week I have been waking up at 5am and instead of going for a leisurely walk to start my day off in the right way I am wasting 2 hours on my phone before work which is bad for my health and wellbeing but also really bad for my mental health! I have also noticed that other than Mondays when I go into the office I am nowhere near making 10000 steps
The main changes that I am going to make this month are:
- Leave Phone in Lounge so I don’t go on it when I first wake up!
- Walk for at least an hour in the morning before work.
- Do at least 1 hour of personal study after work.
- Read a book for at least 1 hour a day.
- Walk at least 10000 steps a Day.
Once I have these habits ingrained again I will look to improve my diet and when I can try to re-introduce BMX training again.
