Weigh In and daily step count:

Woke up and had a weigh in this morning to see how the first week of walking 10000 every day had gone and it has gone really well. I am down to 105.8kgs from my pre-training baseline of 106.2kgs. Although 0.4kgs doesn’t sound like a lot, it is a safe and health amount of weight loss in a week and it has made a big difference to my  body composition. My legs are getting more muscly and my shoulders and arms are also getting more defined! I have also noticed that my asthma is getting much better too! Now that the shin splints are under control with the leg sleeve I am feeling way better aches and pains wise too 😁

The weight loss is better still as I have pretty much been doing the bare minimum of steps for all but the first 2 days of this week due to being sick and being unable to get out of bed early! here are my step counts for the past week:

April wk1 steps

As you can see last Friday was a record day for me with 25305 steps as I woke up early and did a 5.13 mile walk and then went over to my parents house and took the dog for a 3.5 mile walk in the afternoon. On Saturday things went down hill as I woke up feeling a sore and a bit sick and got worse from there! I need to get back to walking 10000 steps or more in the mornings first thing as it makes it way better for collecting steps than waiting until the evening to make up the 10000 steps. As you can see every day after last Friday I have been basically scraping the 10000 steps by 200-600 steps which is not the plan but at least I have finished the first week making 10000 steps a week I guess.
