My first week trying to get Ruck and do the gym during the week and walk 12000 steps a day was better than I thought that it would go to be fair! Other than not going to the gym that is 🙂
Monday
I started the week off strong getting up at 5:00 and Rucking first thing then riding to the office to work until lunch time then riding home again. I also got my backwards walking in too.
By the end of the day I was on 13427 steps for the day.
Tuesday
I was very sore from the Rucking on Monday morning but still got up at 5:00 and di my Ruck for the second day this week instead of going to the gym. I again got the backwards walking in as well and finished the day at 11410 steps for the day.
Wednesday
I was really hurting so I slept in on Wednesday. I did get my backwards walking in at lunch time and I also went to Andover for gates as well but I fell well short of my steps goal at 4923 steps for the day 🙁
Thursday
I was sore and tired from gates so I didn’t ruck again but I did get my backwards walking in and did a lot of walking on the treadmill at home to make 10637 steps for the day.
Friday
I managed to get up at 5:00 again this morning and did my ruck and I got my backwards walking in at lunch time and then in the evening I dragged by son out for a walk to get my target steps for the day. I actually got 13222 steps for the day.
Saturday
Stayed in bed watching TV most of the day other than a few 1/2 laps at the track in the afternoon. Only made 3834 steps for the day 🙁
Sunday
Good day and finished the week in style by going to the track for an hour in the morning then walked around town a lot in the afternoon so made 13395 steps for the day!
So this week could have gone better but it could have also been much worse!
I got 4 rucks in and 5 bw walking sessions this week so I am feeling stronger even though I am really sore 🙂
I also made my 12000 target 4 days out of 7 so over half the week!
