Weight = 104.5 kgs
Steps = 6052 steps
I woke up this morning about 6 am and got up and did my weigh-in and I was 104.5 kgs so all the hard work racing yesterday worked 🙂 My body was feeling good although my shoulders were really hurting so I decided to take a rest day to try and recover. After my weigh-in I decided to go back to bed until 9 am when I got up and got showered and dressed then woke my son up and we headed to my parents to drop the car back.
While we were at my parents we took the dog for a walk and had some food then my son drove us home 🙂 When we got home I cleaned the kitchen and my son went to the supermarket and got some food and then I cooked food.
I chilled most of the rest of the day as my shoulders were hurting so I wanted to rest them. By the end of the day I was on 6052 steps so not 10000 steps but a good amount of activity for a rest day!
Monday 1st September 2025
Weight = 104.9 kgs
Steps = 10800 steps
This morning I had a lie in until 6 am then when my alarm went off I got up and did my weigh-in and I was up a bit to 104.9 kgs this morning so still under 105 kgs but still my weight is moving the wrong way! I then showered and got dressed and then got my rucking rucksack with the 9kg weight in it and walked into the office. I then worked in the office until just after 14:00 then walked home in the rain 🙁 Summer is most definitely over 🙁
When I got home I ordered some food and then chilled for a bit then went back to work until 22:00 when I went to sleep!
With the ruck to the office and back I started the month with my first day walking over 10000 steps with 10800 steps.
Tuesday 2nd September 2025
Weight = 105.4 kgs
Steps = steps
This morning I woke up 2 minutes before my 5:00 alarm and got up and did my weigh-in and I am up another 0.5 kgs this morning so I need to sort my diet out again to get my weight moving in the right direction again! Some of the weight will be added muscle from the rucking but still I need to be dropping weight not putting it on! My good shoulder is still sore so I think that I will stay off the bike again today! As it was dark still I went to bed and was going to chill until I started work BUT is decided that I was going to go for a ruck after all so at 6:00 I got up, showered and got dressed and put on my Rucking Rucksack and went for a Ruck on my usual 2 tunnels route. I’m glad that I talked myself into getting out of bed and going for a Ruck as I feel much better after the walk as I was feeling ill again when I woke up and even had to use my inhaler when I woke up which I haven’t done for months!
The asthma thing shows that I need to get back on track with my diet and go full carnivore again as I have been eating really badly again recently which has caused the illness and my asthma to come back! It has also meant that I am getting slowly heavier again!
When i got home from the ruck I was on 5345 steps so half of my 10000 steps done already and bout 5000 of those steps were done carrying 9 kgs too 🙂 For the rest of the day I was in the house until 17:00 when I took my son to a party in a neighboring town and then went to my parents house to grab my DH bike and E bike and then I headed to a friends house to pick up some bike bits he didn’t want then at 21:30 I took the DH bike to my friends house for her son to try out and then picked up my son and took him back to his mum’s house. By the time I got home it was 23:00 and I was not able to sleep as I had been driving and that wakes me up so I watched tv until about midnight then went to sleep!
By the end of the day I was on 8710 Steps so not 10000 steps but over 8000 and 5000 of them were carrying 10kgs so it should be fine 🙂
Wednesday 3rd September 2025
Weight = 105.3 kgs
Steps = 10360 Steps
This morning my alarm went off at 6:00 and I switched it off and went back to sleep until 6:30 when I woke up panicking and got up and did my weigh-in and I was down 0.1 kgs to 105.3 kgs so not much weight loss but it is weight loss none the less!
I then did some work before getting showered, dressed and then I rode the ebike into the office and grabbed a backup drive and then headed home again. I then worked at home until about 14:00 when I had to go into the office again so I went in on the ebike again. At about 16:14 I headed home again.
When I got home I got some food and then helped my son build his new PC and then at about 19:30 while it was upgrading we went out for a walk so that I got to 10000 steps.
When we got back I watched TV until about 21:00 then went to sleep. I was on 10360 Steps for the day 🙂
Thursday 4th September 2025
Weight = 106 kgs
Steps = 3796 Steps
I woke up late at 6:30 and then did my weigh-in and i was up to 106 kgs this morning so up 0.7 kgs from yesterday! It was expected as I ate like crap today! I then did some work and then showered and rode the ebike into the office and worked in the office until about 8:00 then rode home again.
At lunch time I was super tired so I went to bed for a nap and woke up 2 hours later!!! So I think that I am coming down with something again 🙁
I then worked until about 16:30 then my son drove us to his mum’s house and I then drove home and it took ages due to the really savage traffic 🙁 When I got home I ordered a take out and drank a beer my son had left me to try and then chilled for the rest of the night!
I went to sleep about 21:30. By the end of the day I was only on 3796 Steps which is pretty bad 🙁
Friday 5th September 2025
Weight = 106.6 kgs
Steps = Steps
This morning I woke up at 3:30 and didn’t get back to sleep until 4:30 so I then played wake-up with the alarm and reset it 30 minutes until 6:30 when I got up and did my weigh in and I was up another 0.6 kgs to 106.6 kgs so I am going on a 36 hour fast this weekend to get that in check! I also want to save as much money as possible before the Car’s MOT and Service too so not buying food will help 🙂
I then cracked on with work.
My left shoulder is still pretty sore so I think I will rest it until next week and chill at home over the weekend apart from doing some track work on Saturday.
