Sunday 6th July 2025

Weight = 105.1 Kgs

Steps = 1959 Steps

So this morning I was super tired and I woke up about at 11:30!! This is unheard of for me. This meant that I didn’t go out on the bike as when I got up I decided to fast for the rest of the day as it was raining and I was going to a stag do in the evening. I stayed in bed and watched the Brum national on Race hub Instead! I did my weigh-in and I was down 0.3 kgs to 105.1 kgs this morning!

Because of all this I only managed 1959 Steps all day 🙁

Monday 7th July 2025

Weight = 104.7 kgs

Steps = 11440 Steps

So this morning I woke up at 6:30 but i was super tired as my son got home at 1:30 in the morning and was super drunk and proceeded to stumble around the house for hours and threw up a lot! This meant that I didn’t go and do sprints this morning and I didn’t go into the office in the morning either as I was going to have to stay late tonight as there are some workman in and I need to be there just in case. As I had had such a bad night I got a fry-up sandwich with hash browns from the cafe delivered! I was also out of NMN so not the best day all around!

At lunch time a server that I was working on decided to die so I had to quickly shower and then walk into the office where I stayed until 20:30. Luckily I was able to get the server back online pretty easily and also migrate one of the VM’s off of it onto another server so not a bad end to the day. When I left the office I met my Son in town and he gave me his mum’s NMN as she is lending it to me until my new supply arrives in the next couple of days!  I then headed home and finished my on call at home until about 22:30 when I headed to bed.

By the end of the day I was on 11440 Steps for the day but I was feeling really bloated due to the fry-up Sandwich and hash browns as well as having a lot of cheese for tea at work so I really need to get my diet back in check in order to get the weight down!

Tuesday 8th July 2025

Weight = 106.4

Steps = 1594 Steps

So I didn’t sleep well again last night due to all the crap I ate yesterday and the bloating making it pretty uncomfortable so I woke up at 6:30 and did my weigh-in and I was up to 106.4 kgs again today! Some of that will likely be water weight as I drank a lot of water yesterday but even so some will be from the bad diet too! I then went back to bed until 7:30 when I got up and started work.

Yesterday I bought chipolatas and bacon so that I could start the day with Carnivore Twix (2 Chipolatas wrapped in bacon 🙂 ) I made 3 of them and ate all 3 so I am defiantly not hungry any more 🙂

As I was on call last night I am on 1/2 day today so at 12 I will head to the track and train for an hour or so then head home and then go for a walk to get my steps in as I am currently on only 476 steps today!

I have decided to reset my head again I am going to do a 72 hour fast this week from 17:00 Thursday afternoon until 17:00 Sunday afternoon to get out of the habit of all the sweets and sugar and also reset my head and palette too! It should also get rid of all the weight that I have been putting back on recently and hopefully get me near to getting under 100kgs!

So at 12:00 when I finished work I decided that I was tired so I went to bed and then spent the rest of the day in bed chilling out! This mean that I only got 1594 Steps in today but I felt so much better so I guess I needed some rest!

Wednesday 9th July 2025

Weight = 105.7 kgs

Steps = Steps

So this morning  I was feeling better after catching up on sleep and chilling yesterday afternoon so I got up with my alarm at 5 am and did my weigh-in and I was down 0.7 kgs to 105.7 kgs this morning so still heavier than I was at the start of the week but still I lost a fair bit considering I was doing nothing all afternoon! I then got dressed grabbed the OS20 and then went to the track and did some sprints!

I only managed 6 x 25m alternating sprints in then I called it a day as my back was sore and I didn’t want to aggravate my back any more as I want to do gates tonight. Other than the back I was feeling good so I headed home showered and went for a walk to try and loosen up my back before work! By the time I was home I was on 5561 steps and feeling a lot better 🙂

I then did some work and while I was waiting for a call I swapped the 175 mm DXR’s from the OS20 to the Curtis Race bike to see if the 175 mm Cranks are faster or not at gates tonight as they really did feel faster doing sprints this morning but that could be because of the slightly lower gearing maybe.

I have to say the DXR’s do look better than the Avian cranks in my opinion:

The bike really needs a clean but that can wait until the weekend anyway as its only dust so will not do any harm!
