Sunday 15th June 2025
Weight = 104.1 kgs
Steps = 6756 Steps
So I woke up late about 7 am then did my weigh-in and I was down to 104.1 kgs this morning. I then got dressed and got my son up and we went to the track for a play.
We rode until just after 9 am then headed home to shower and change and then we headed over to my parents until about 3 pm when we headed home as my son had a tutor session to do.
I then headed home and watched the semis and finals from Gosport and got my washing died and put away and then chilled until bed time.
Monday 16th June 2025
Weight = 104.7 kgs
Steps = Steps
So I got up with my alarm at 5:00 and did my weigh-in and I was up to 104.6 kgs this morning so up 1/2 kg again ☹️
I then got ready and headed to the track to do sprints.
I did my usual 6 x 25 m alternating leg sprints with 3 minutes rest in between sets then 3 minutes rest followed by 6 x 50 m alternating leg sprints with 3 minutes rest in between. I then headed home and showed and got dressed for work and then rode the mtb to the office. I then worked until just after 12:00 and then rode home and then worked until 3:30 and took a break then I was on call until 22:00.
I much prefer riding the mtb into the office and back than walking so I think that I will do that from now on!
I am planning to go to the track tomorrow and do some pump laps in the morning and then go for a ride on the mtb at lunch time too so that I can start getting more active as I am still not super active at the moment.
Tuesday 17th June 2025

So I woke up at 5 am with my alarm but was really tired and my legs were aching from sprints yesterday so I decided that it made more sense to go for a walk instead to walk away the aches and pains instead of adding to them! I got up and did my weigh-in and I was still 104.7 kgs so I didn’t lose any weight but I didn’t add any either so it could be worse! I then showered and got dressed and went for my walk up the hill loop and then on the way back down I took a detour through the park and onto the 2 tunnels instead of just walking along the road. I was on 6322 steps by the time I got home so a big chunk of my steps for the day done and I am feeling way less stressed and much better in my self all together! I am still amazed how much fitter I am now after fasting and curing my asthma. I used to be blowing out of my arse and having asthma and needed my inhaler by the top of the first hill and now I am just breathing a bit heavier than normal but nothing much at all 🙂
I am planning to go to the track at lunchtime then I will go for a bike ride in the evening and then I will be done for the day 🙂
So my revised training should look something like this:
I really need to be more active in the evenings so I will go to gates if on or go for a bike ride to just up my activity a bit and also use them as recovery rides as well to spin the legs out ready to train again in the morning!
So in the afternoon I went to bed for a nap and woke up at 4 pm and felt like crap so I decided to rest instead of pushing it any more.
Wednesday 18th June 2025
Weight 104.8 kgs
Steps = 5835 steps
So I woke up at 4:15 ISH and couldn’t get back to sleep so I got up and did my weigh-in and I was up 0.1 kgs this morning even though my arms are noticeably more toned that they were yesterday so hopefully I am gaining muscle weight which is fine! I then chilled until 5 am when I got ready and drove to the track to do sprints.
The weather was amazing when I got to my happy place and I setup the box and started doing my 6 x 25 m alternating sprints with alternating front leg to work both legs equally.
I then rested 5 minutes and then got onto my 6 x 50 m sprints with 3 minutes rest in between and again alternating legs as before.
Friday 20th June
Weight = 105.0 kgs
Steps = Steps
So after a sticky nights sleep I woke up without my alarm at 4:50 so I got up and did my weigh-in and I am down to 105 kgs this morning so still a lot heavier than the start of the week but getting better 😁
I then got dressed and headed to the track to get my sprints done. There was actually a nice breeze at the track so it was a lot less sticky than it was at home which was nice 😁
As normal I did 6 x 25m alternating legs sprints with 3 minutes rest in between then a 5 minute rest followed by 6 x 50m alternating legs sprints with 3 minutes rest in between.
My back was feeling a bit tight so I will have to go for a walk later to sort it out before anything happens. I also need to get back to backwards walking too to sort my knee out! I am going to grab my parents car tonight so that I can head to Tivi first thing tomorrow and get some laps in before the regional next week. I also have next Wednesday off to get some more laps in 😁
When I got home I showered and got dressed then got on the MTB and rode into the office. I did some work that needed doing then headed home again. It is getting hotter but still a bit cooler than yesterday so its really nice out at the moment. By the time I got home I was on 3373 steps so I have a lot more steps to go to get my 10000 steps in although I haven’t got 10000 steps in a day for a couple of weeks which is not ideal and will explain why I am so much heavier at the moment! Next weeks goal is to get my 3 x sprint sessions in and also walk 10000 steps a day again to try and get the weight moving back down again!
