Week 19 – 4th May – 10th May 2025

Sunday 4th May 2025

So this morning I woke up when I woke up which again was about 7:30 ish and I got up and I was back up to 104.1 kgs so I started the week putting on 0.4 kgs from eating badly yesterday! Worse than the weight gain was the fact that my stomach feels really off again today too 🙁 This gets me back in the carnivore mind set as I feel so much better not eating carbs so I am using my lapse yesterday as a wake-up call to get back to eating clean again!

I am also really sore from the sprints yesterday so I am having a rest day today so that I am ready to start the gym tomorrow morning first thing! This week I am going to do the following exercise on the following days:

Monday – Gym

Tuesday – Sprints

Wednesday – Gates Andover

Thursday – Gates Bath

Friday – Gym

Saturday – Sprints

Sunday – Rest

I will also walk/ Ruck in the mornings Monday – Friday and try and get 10000 steps in every day but not worry as much at the weekends as I do during the week as I want to build a routine that I can be consistent with for the long run. As I am setting one exercise goal a day it should be easier to achieve than my other plans of basically doing 3 activities as day and my goal for the next month is to get my one exercise goal done every day that they are planned.

Monday 5th May 2025

So I woke up about 7 am so decided to go to Little Stoke instead of the gym so I got up and did my weigh-in (still 104.1 kgs the same as yesterday!) then showered and got dress. When I pushed the Dialled to the door there was something rubbing so I checked it out and it was the tyre rubbing on the top of the rear triangle 🙁  I decided to take the Curtis instead and go to Patchway instead of Little Stoke as the Curtis had clip-less pedals so is more suited to Patchway.

I had a really good session at Patchway once I had cleared all the stones off of the track that the little shits had put down as booby traps to try and take someone out! The 37 x 16 gearing felt a lot faster than the 36 x 16 as well but I guess that we will find out if it is actually any faster on Wednesday when I do timed gates 🙂

I think that I will probably break down the Dialled and sell it and the StayStrong and all of the parts and then get my other Curtis back from my friend and use that as my training/ Pump track bike and keep the Curtis for gates, sprints and racing,

I am planning on doing my first gym session this Friday as I have way more time to get home as I start at 7:30 instead of 6:30 like every other day. This will give me enough time to get a good idea of how I can fit the session in on Monday’s as well from next week.

Tuesday 6th April 2025

This morning I woke up at 4:30 am thinking about what I had to do at work today following on from the weekend migration woes. I searched some stuff on the internet and then at 4:45 I got up and did my weigh-in. I am up to 104.5 kgs this morning mainly due to not walking too much and also eating takeout last night again 🙁 My stomach is feeling really rubbish this morning too and my breathing is not so great either so its time to stop with the takeout and get back to walking and eating right again!

At 5:20 I got dressed from the shower and then got the weight vest on then headed out for my morning ruck on my up hill route. I was super surprised at how much easier the ruck was compared to how it was the last time that I did it and it was almost enjoyable 🙂 The fact that it was light helped too I think 🙂 The ruck was really enjoyable and on the way back I took the long way home too 🙂
