Woke up at 5am and did my weigh-in and I am back down to 106.4kgs this morning so my weight is moving in the right direction again.
I then got ready and walked into the office and did some tasks that needed doing and I then walked home again to start my shift. By the time I got home I was on 7007 steps so a fair chunk of my steps for the are done already and its only 7:30 am 🙂
I am on a half day today so I plan to walk to the track and ride for a bit and then walk home so that I get my 12500 steps on before the start of my on call then I can get a bunch more bonus steps in this evening when I walk on the treadmill and do the on call. If possible I want to get below 106kgs by the weekend so we will see!
At about 11am I had to go into the office again so I took the mountain bike as it was faster than walking but when I got to work there was a hissing coming from my back wheel and when I went to go home the rear tyre was totally flat so I took the bike upstairs and put it in one of the server rooms and then walked home.
By the time I got home I was on basically 12500 steps for the day so I stayed in bed until my on call shift started as I had had a bad morning!
At about 20:30 I drove into the office and picked up the bike and brought it home so that I can fix it tomorrow!
Its now 21:30 and I am on 13529 steps so over achieved again today 🙂
As you can see from the Fitbit Graph I have been way more consistent with my walking since I started the Beast Training which has turned into just walking for now! Over the 27 days that I have been challenging myself to walk I have averaged 10967.11111 steps per day and that includes 2 days when I was ill and only managed 927 steps one day and 5497 steps another day! Other than these 2 days I have had only 4 other days when I walked less than 10000 steps. For the past 8 days I have consistently walked more than 12500 steps as day:

As I said before I am definitely noticing the benefits of my consistency and I will try my best to continue to be consistent going forwards. My goal is to walk 12500 steps a day for the whole of 2024 to see how I feel and to see how my weight drops with consistent walking! With adding BMX training and weight training to my daily routine after xmas I think I can really get my weight down to way healthier levels with a year of consistent training.
