This afternoon I had to pop into the office so I took the Jump Bike but when I got half way there I found that I wasn’t as well as I thought I was. I Really struggled and felt super dizzy and weak but I managed to get there and back but I had to go to bed for a while when I got home. After I got home the SEI 45mm stem arrived from Crucial so I fitted it to the bike to replace the 50mm S&M that was on it.
After work I got the Pure v6 Pro XL 24″ and went to the track for a bit of testing before training started. I did a few pump laps and then stopped and helped setup for training. During training I helped a friend to build his new bike up and then after training I did a few more faster first straights and got the tap manual on the first jump and a clean manual on the second jump on the 3rd try which is pretty amazing. I had to stop after that as my hernia was starting to hurt so I figured that it was better to stop before I hurt it any more.
The Pure felt amazing and really not as big as I was worried that it would. I think that the shorter stem helped too. I am super happy with the decision to buy the frame and I can’t wait to try it out of the gate! I am thinking that I will pop over to Bristol tomorrow night to get some practice in.
