So I missed the gym yesterday and today as I have been organising my flat as I am having my windows replaced tomorrow afternoon so I need to clear all the items in front of my windows so that they can be replaced easily.
This has meant that I have had to do a lot of re-organising and cleaning. I did so much cleaning yesterday that I walked 4718 steps without leaving the house!
Yesterday my son and myself de-moulded my lounge and front hall windows, doorways and walls and I swept and mopped the lounge and cleaned the kitchen.
This morning we got up early to go to the hospital and then we cleared some space in the garage and moved some of the clutter from the house into the garage. We also moved all the stuff that I am taking to the tip tomorrow into the car so that in the morning I can just drive to the tip and empty it. I did have a brain fart and ate a cheese and bacon slice for breakfast before I remembered that I am intermittent fasting so another failed resolution today 🙁
For the rest of the day I have to de-mould the kitchen and bathroom windows and deep-clean the rest of the house and re-mop the lounge as its really raining outside so we tracked water through the house when we were moving things around! I also need to wash my bedding and a bunch of towels and find homes for a bunch of crap that I don’t really need.
I am not going to go to the gym tomorrow morning either as I will not have enough time to go to the gym, work out, come home and shower and get dressed before I have to go to the tip so I will have to go to the gym Thur, Fri, Sat and Sun to make up for it but its do-able. I can then take Monday as a rest day and workout on Wednesday instead. I am starting to think that taking Monday as my rest day from the gym instead of Wednesday is a better idea as I work from the office on Mondays so that makes it a mission to workout shower and get to the office in time and it also means that I have to take a bunch more stuff with me in the morning too which sucks.
I have also come to the decision that I will use my Son’s old GT Chucker as my ebike as its beaten up so isn’t worth much if I sell it and the wheel that I was buying for the Dialled 4X frame wasn’t in stock so I cancelled it and I will build up the GT with all the parts from the Dialled and the forks from the blue Octane One which I am parting out. I think that once all the crap parts are removed from the GT and good parts put on it will be an awesome ride around town bike that will also take the abuse jumping up and down curbs, etc as well. The frame is made for gears so I will just put the Shimano Zee group set that I had on the Dialled I think that it will be good. I also have some better brakes as well as the ones on the GT are horrible. I also have some brand new wtb thickslick tyres to go on it that will make the bike way better on the tarmac. The bike is in the shed in bits at the moment but once my windows have been replaced Tomorrow afternoon I will start work on the GT. At the moment I am thinking that I will keep the GT a single brake bike as its not really going to go offroad with the Swytch kit on it anyway so it doesn’t really need a front brake and not having one gives it one less thing to go wrong and will make the bike a bit lighter too. The rear wheel on the GT is OK but I will replace it with a Halo wheel once I have sold all the other bikes anyway :- )

Yesterday I got most of my chores done and I was cleaning/ organising pretty much non-stop from 9:30-21:30! I ended up getting in 11024 steps in for the day with about 6000 of them coming from cleaning and the rest coming from walking to the hospital and back! My flat is also looking way better so its a win win!
