Revised training again

So I have been thinking about my training and I think the best thing I can do is pay for the gym again then I can ride to the office and leave my bike first thing , walk to the gym from the office, walk back to the office and work for a bit then ride home. Riding makes more sense as it takes 20 minutes there and back compared to an hour so it saves time and therefore gives me more time to work out than walking! I will have to make up my steps at lunch time or in the evening instead which is easier to do than making up missed weights or track sessions! I will pop into the gym tomorrow lunch time and have a look and then I will sign up on Wednesday or Thursday so that the payments come out on the 15th or 16th of each month for the next 12 months and I will start working out as soon as I can! I am going to start doing split sessions so that I am in the gym 4 days a week but workout for less time. I will use mostly machines for my legs while I work on my shoulder flexibility so that I can do squats again.

I stopped drinking Coca Cola again this weekend so that will save me about £150 a month so will pay for the gym easily and will also give me more motivation to not drink Coca Cola again! I have been feeling pretty crappy but I think the worst is over now so hopefully I can start dropping weight again!

As the track is now closed for 2 weeks I got up early this morning and went to Lawrence Weston pump track and it is about 20 minutes away by car and apparently 40 minutes by bike along the Bath to Bristol Cycle path so on Tuesday I plan to get the long seat post on the Black Market and ride there to see exactly how far it is and if I am able to ride the track after riding there 🙂

My plan at least for the next 2 weeks is to do the following training during the week:

Monday

AM = Walk to work and Gym (legs)

Lunch = Rest (in office so don’t take lunch usually!)

PM = Rest (Working on call)

Tuesday

AM = Walk to Gym, weights (Upper Body) walk home

Lunch = Pump Track while BMX track is closed. When open Gates session

PM = Rollers for 1 hour and finish 10000 steps on treadmill

Wednesday

AM = Pump Track

Lunch = Road Ride or sprints/ track

PM = Finish 10000 steps on treadmill and rest

Thursday

AM = Walk to work and Gym (legs)

Lunch = Road Ride or sprints/ track

PM = Rollers for 1 hour and finish 10000 steps on treadmill

Friday

AM = Walk to work and Gym (legs)

Lunch = Road Ride or sprints/ track

PM = Rollers for 1 hour and finish 10000 steps on treadmill

Saturday and Sunday

Pump track Early then ride with friends if anyone riding.

I am leaving the sprints until the track is open as I can do them then ride the track a bit at lunch times. For the 2 weeks that the track is close I will do road rides to the pump track and back at lunch times for now.
