Rest Morning

I took the morning off this morning as I was feeling a bit tired and I spent all evening building up bikes to sell.

The Yess is going to a friend to borrow for the season and the Dialled is being borrowed by a friend of a friend who many buy it. I also have the Meybo 90% built up so that will be going to its new home soon too.

With all these bikes gone I will have made a massive dent in the number of bikes I have as well as the amount to spare parts that I have lying around the house which will make the flat seem way bigger!

This weekend I also have to get all of my frames and unwanted parts onto the internet to sell as well as some of my unwanted bikes as I really need to get rid of them as they are just cluttering up my flat at the moment.

I have decided that I am going to keep the following bikes:

DMR Jump Bike

Supercross Cruiser

Airdrop Fade (My Son’s Bike now)

29er MTB

Ebike

When my Curtis Frame is ready I will most likely sell the Supercross as well as I only need one race Cruiser anyway then I will have the following bikes:

DMR Jump Bike

Curtis Cruiser

Airdrop Fade (My Son’s Bike now)

29er MTB

Ebike

This will get me down from my current about 10 bikes to 5 which is way more appropriate. I am thinking that I may talk to Gary about getting an OS20 frame built up then I can have that as my 20″ so I can ride it at pump tracks as well as race it if I want to.

The idea is to slowly replace the DMR and 20er frames with Curtis frames as well then all my bikes will have a similar feel to them.

For now I will just stick with the Jump Bike for playing at the track and on pump tracks, the Curtis for racing and the 29er for riding about on.

My idea from next week is to start going for a ride on the mtb every other morning and walking the other mornings to get fitter and drop weight faster. I plan to ride up to the track and back like I have been doing with walking the dog and then after a while the ride to the track will be really easy so I can ride up there on the mtb and then sell the ebike as I will not need it anymore. My Son will be a bit sad as its the only bike that he enjoys riding but he only rides it once in a blue moon so its not worth keeping it.

This will then mean that I will have one less bike to take up space in the Flat or Garage and I can also pay some more of my debt off!

My plan exercise wise starting nest week is as follows:

Mon, Wed, Fri AM – ride MTB to track and back + Weights

Tue, Thursday, Sat, Sun AM – Walk to track and back

Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sunday PM – Ride at the track
