Day 1 at Peckham went pretty well today. I made the semis and finished 15th overall which is my best finish this year. I had some of my best results in the Moto’s too finishing 4th, 3rd and 5th so not too bad.
My gates were a bit slower than they were at the regional the other week which I think is due to the gearing change but I felt a bit fresher at the end of the laps so not sure about the new gearing.
I am going to change my gearing back to 36×16 this morning when I get to the track then I can compare my times at the end of the day. I have to swap back to it in a few weeks once the Curtis is ready but it would be good to know if it is faster than the 41×18 anyway.
My stomach hurt all day but as I made the semis I put up with it. I am going to see the doctor next week and try and find out what is going on so that I can make a decision about the Worlds.
I am looking forwards to tomorrow’s racing.
