I was a feeling a bit crap last night and even more so this morning so I am working from home today and also taking a rest day again today to recover.
I am on call tonight and tomorrow night so I need to be better as soon as I can.
My curl bar arrived this morning so I am going to try and do some upper body weights this afternoon between my shift and my on call shift at least.
I plan to get up and walk tomorrow morning before deciding if I should start leg weights tomorrow or wait until next week when I should be healthy again!
Last night I also did an online shop and I am going to go back on the lion diet where I only eat meat, salt and butter and drink only water! I have been eating really badly this month which is showing in my current state of ill health as well as the poor state of my bank balance too π
I am cutting out takeout all together for the rest of the year to see if I can get my spending back under control before it spirals out of control again and I am in a constant state of being poor.
At the weekend I also got fed up with the cluttered state of my lounge since the new sofa arrived so I have bought my son a loft bed so that I can move his computer and at least one of the cupboards under the bed to free up space that is currently wasted.
By doing this I can essentially get all of my son’s stuff into the end of the lounge and essentially make it into his bedroom. It also means that his bed, desk and a chest of draws can all fit in the foot print that his daybed took up before. This then means that the I can make the far end of the lounge my son’s room, the middle of the lounge the actual lounge with the sofa and TV setup properly and then the other end of the lounge into my office only. I am also getting all bikes and bike related paraphernalia like the bike rack and all the wheels hung up in the lounge at the moment moved so that the lounge will be a basically bike free zone.
This afternoon I am going to break down my son’s bed and move it outside so that I can get the area ready to put the newΒ new bed in there but I will also need to wash down and paint the walls as they are pretty grubby at the moment. I will also need to fill in the holes from where I drilled through the wall to hang the bike rack when I mounted it and also the holes from the mirror that I am moving off of the wall as well to fit the bed flush against the wall so I have ordered some spray foam and filler to get this done then I can paint the area before we build the bed and make it a permanent bedroom area.
I am in the process of dismantling the current bed so that I can start tidying and mop the floors etc before I start organising everything ready for the new bed to arrive Wednesday or Thursday. I will leave the bed in the box until Friday night when I hope to have cleaned, filled holes washed the walls and painted then I can build up the bed Friday afternoon after work. I am on call tonight and tomorrow night so I have tomorrow and Wednesday afternoons off so I should have plenty of time to get everything done.
