Halo Clickster Freewheel arrived

The Halo Clickster Freewheel has arrived as expected the the only thing that I don’t have for the GT PowerSeries 24″ is the cranks. As its pissing down at the moment and I didn’t want to get all of the bikes and stuff out of the container in the wet I decided to buy a set of Sunday Saker V2 cranks from Alan’s BMX as they were on offer at £49.99 but I have now reciecved an email to say that they are on special order from the suppliers and will take 1-3days to arrive then they wiull be shipped out next working day so they should arrive early next week hopefully🤞🏻

I have just heard back from the guy selling the Standard 125R Cruiser frame and forks and he has got a box that he will pick up at the weekend so he will post the frame and forks out on Monday.

I have just asked about how he wants payment (Money for frame and forks before they are sent and then postage on top or all when they are sent) so once I pay I will be happy that the frame and forks are mine and then I will hold off on building up the GT until the Frame arrives as well as the new cranks!

So I may have to hold off on starting the HITT training until the Standard 125R is here and built up and ready to use. I think that Next week I will do the 2 x body weight exercises and then faze in the HITT in a couple of weeks when my body is used to the Bodyweight exercises. Then I shock my body slowly instead of totally shocking it shocking it with a totally new regime all at once. By doing 2 weeks of bodyweight exercises then starting the HITT after that it should give my body enough time to adjust to the increase load of the training and then it just needs to adjust to the added HITT sessions.

I have been thinking about the bodyweight training and I think that doing 100 reps of each exercise in one go will be too much for my body to take at the moment so I will start with 3 x 30 reps of each exercise and then every few weeks add another 10 reps to the total. I will keep doing this until I am at 3 x 100 reps and then I will start adding sets to the total until I reach 5 sets of 100 reps then that will be plenty! I may then start wearing the weight vest to get my weight back up to the current 110 kgs as I will have definitely dropped weight after that time. Especially when adding the HITT to it too.

I have just been checking the GT over and I have noticed that it has 14mm axles so the wheels will not work on the Standard anyway so I will have to wait until I sell some more stuff and get some more money to buy some 10mm non-disk wheels for the bike 🙁

So I have the GT PowerSeries 24″ about 85% built. All that needs putting on is the Bottom bracket, cranks when they arrive and the new chain then its ready to test out. A bit later today I will pump up the tyres and stick the GT in the garage to get it out of the lounge until the cranks arrive next week then I will build it up and have a play on it. I really like the way that it has turned out to be honest and I think that it will really make a good roller bike for the winter, especially as it has the 14mm forks which will be stronger than the 10mm forks on my other bikes as there is way thicker steel on the fork dropouts.
