Halo Chaos Sprocket Removal tool arrived for the Octane One Zircus 2022

At 10am this morning I got a call from crucial to say that the tyre and numbers that I ordered were ready to pick up but unfortunately I will not have time to pick them up today as I have to got to the track this afternoon to wait for the toilets and barriers to be delivered.

The Halo Chaos Sprocket removal tool arrived at lunchtime today so I can now get the Octane One Zircus 2022 Build finished:

I am now going to get the Octane One Zircus 2022 back in the work stand and get it 100% built before I go to the track at about 14:30 to do some maintenance on the track and wait for the Barriers to be delivered.

When I got back from the track I tried to release the sprocket but it needs a vice so I will have a go at my parents house when I am there tomorrow afternoon as they have a vice so it should be easier.

I went up the track for 14:30 and the guy delivering the barriers and toilets was waiting for me when I got there! We offloaded all the stuff and then I helped to blow off the start hill ready for the weekend. I did a bit of riding afterwards but not a lot as it was windy and I had a meeting at 16:30 so had to come home.

I also got my back wheel back from getting the axle swapped over so I have removed the tyre ready to put the new one on tomorrow morning after I pick it up. I plan to leave home about 8:30 am so I get to Crucial as they open at 9am so I should be at the track by 10am which gives me an hour to get the tyres on and get the bike dialled before training starts!

As I said earlier I plan on taking both bikes with me so that I can swap between them a lot to get used to it for double biking on Sunday. I’m still not 100% comfortable on the 20″ yet but it is way easier to manual than the 24″ so it is way more fun 🙂 I am hoping once I have the new tyres on it will feel a bit better too.

I have just put a new tubolito in the front wheel of S&M Steel panther ready for racing Sunday as it had a normal tube in there so I wanted to have tubolito’s in both wheels.
