So for the first time in a couple of weeks I got out on the BMX today and met some friends at Patchway and then we headed to Little Stoke afterwards which was hectic but fun! I managed to hurt my shoulder a bit on the pump track and I don’t feel as comfortable on the OS20 as I do on the Cruiser so I think that I will stick to the Cruiser for now!
Today I swapped my Cult Race Cruiser frame for my Friends Dialled + some cash so I now have a 20″ and 24″ Dialled again 🙂
I am deciding what to do with the Dialled frames and I think that I will break them down for now and sell off the parts and hang the frames on the wall to look at and keep for now as there will not be any more made so might as well keep them! I may build up the 24″ with the parts from the StayStrong and sell the StayStrong frame and use the Dialled as my container bike and jump bike with the 41 x 16 gearing and the big 24 x 2.10 tyres on it as I like riding the big tyres in the winter and I think that the Dialled will make a good pump track play bike as it is more jumpy that a normal race Cruiser as it has a higher front end. I have bought a new Gusset slink 3×32 chain that will arrive by the 10th Feb so I have time to decide what I want to do.
The Dialled frame looks in pretty good condition and once its been broken down and cleaned and had some new stickers put on it it will look really good either built up or hung on the wall too 🙂
I will also get my 20″ Dialled back from the container this week and break it down too and wash that and try and get another sticker set for it too.
I am building the Cult up for my friend so that he can ride it on Wednesday night at gates at Andover so I have just ordered a new headset for it as I will keep the external headset from the Dialled as it will not work with the Cult anyway. My fiend is also letting me keep the chain tensioners too as the Cult frame has integrated chain tensioners anyway.
The Tioga Syder seat and post for my Son’s Supercross arrived yesterday too so I will stick that on it on Tuesday when I am at my parents house. I may also sell the Supercross as my son is not really riding much these days so when i rides he can use one of my spare bikes anyway so I may as well sell this one and recoup some money back.
