Good couple of days on the bike.

I have had a couple of good days on the Chase OS20 Conversion and I am feeling more and more comfortable on it. The new bars were the last change that was needed to make it ride perfectly. I am now going to just ride the Chase until the Standard arrives then I will probably swap out some of the parts on the chase and sell it to pay for the Standard build as I will need new hubs and the wheels building up anyway so the money from the Chase sale would be nice.

Sunday morning I got up early and walked to my friends house near the track and we went to Decoy for the morning practice session which was really fun and chilled and I did a lot more riding than I thought that I would and got some practice in for the SW champs if I decide to race (I’m leaning to not racing at the moment as I am in training mode at the moment not race mode. I also don’t have much money at the moment so I may not race and save some money! When we got home I rode the bike back home so I only got 7613 steps for the day as when I got home I was really sore and tired asa it was super hot so I spent the rest of the day in bed re-hydrating and refuelling.

Today I woke up sore and tired and rode to the office swallowing a fly on the way and throwing up on the way and then realising that I had forgotten my door pass so I had to go home and get my pass and then go home again.  I didn’t really eat or drink at work as I was super busy so when I got home I ate and drank and then went to bed again!

Tonight we had the first adult only training session at the track so again I had to walk to the track again pushing the bike and carrying my helmet etc so it was a struggle but once we started training I was fine and had a really good session. I then left the chase and my helmet in the container so tomorrow it will be easier to walk to the track as I will have no bike or helmet to drag up the hill! After the session I helped pack up then walked home in the dark! I was really tired and thirsty and it was a real struggle to get home but I managed it 🙂 By the time I got home I was on 14785 steps so I should be on 15000 steps for the day by the time I go to bed.

I have just bought new HT Componets X1 Cleats so that I get the Adidas VeloSamba shoes setup so that I can use them as my winter shoes as my sidi’s are starting to be a nightmare to walk in as the soles are pretty much non-existant now 🙁

I am now off for a shower and then I am off to bed and will have a lie in tomorrow morning as I will be walking in the evening to the track again so there is no need to walk in the morning as I will deffo get my steps in again tomorrow. Tomorrow I will wear my vivobarefoot shoes as I have been wearing my Vans a lot to walk around in and my feet are not feeling too good at the moment so I think going back to the vivobarefoots will help. Lets See.
