As stated before I have decided that my goals for 2025 are going to be more about changing habits rather than sports related goals and my main focus will be as follows:
- Ruck first thing in the morning and walk 12000 steps total per day
- Take lunch Mon-Fri and go to the track (not too bothered about what I do while I am there at the moment)
- Do sprints 3x a week
- 10 minutes backwards walking Monday to Friday
- Ride on the rollers for 30 minutes in the evening Monday to Friday
- Do 1 hour of personal study each day after work
- Do 30 minutes of cleaning in the flat each evening
The idea behind these goals is to build habits to improve my health, fitness and well-being as well as improve my work/life balance as this year I went back to working all the time instead of making time for myself!
Goals 2 and 3 are basically the same goal as I do sprints at the track but I wanted to specify that I will do 2 sprint sessions a week.
Goal 4 is basically carrying on from this year where I have added 10 minuts of backwards walking on the bw treadmill and it has rrally helped my knees a lot so I want to keep going with it.
Goals 6 and 7 are more about self improvement and helping to improve my day to day life.
