So this morning I woke up when I woke up and chilled in bed until 9am as the extra cans of Peel Tec were arriving between 9:30 and 10:30 am so there was no point going for a walk. The delivery was bang on 9:30 which was nice as it gave me time to get ready before heading to the track for gates at 10:15!
I set up the gate when I got to the track and then I waited for everyone else to arrive and then we did gates from 11-14:00. I managed to get about 10 gates in and I was snapping and getting through my 1st and second pedal really quickly then I stopped between my 2nd and 3rd pedal every time which was annoying and meant that I got beat almost every gate by someone 🙁
I think for the next month or so I will concentrate on 15m sprints to work on getting fluid pedals all the way through the first few pedals to try and fix this issues sooner rather than later!
I did all my gates from gate 5-8 today to work on getting used to looking at the right hand side light as I was weaker on this last time and it is now feeling pretty good so at gates on Thursday I will start using all the lanes again to get used to using them again!
When I got home I had another go at the Black Market frame but the paint stripper isn’t doing much so I have decided to take the frame for sand blasting and powder coating instead! I am now deciding what colour to paint the frame. I am currently deciding between the original copper/orange colour, fluro orange or Sky Blue (RAL 5015). At the moment I am liking the idea of sky blue but I will keep deciding over the weekend as the powder coater’s are not open until Tuesday anyway so I have time still!
