Gates Session

I woke up without an alarm at 6:30 this morning but I was really sore from sprints yesterday so I didn’t go to the gym again this morning.

Went to the track for 11:30 this morning and set the gate up for 12:00 gates. I was a bit stiff this morning and that showed on my gates all session!

I was getting really good snaps and my first and second pedals were really good and then I kind of went backwards again like I did at the weekend! I just felt flat all session which was really annoying to be honest! But I guess that there was not enough recovery time from the sprint session yesterday.

I need to re-work my training so that I don’t do a sprint session the day before gates!

I am thinking that I will do something like:

Monday:

AM = Gym

PM = Sprints/ Full laps

Tuesday:

AM = Rest

PM = Coaching

Wednesday

AM = Sprints

PM = Manuals

Thursday:

AM = Sprints

PM = Manuals

Friday:

AM = Gym

PM = Manuals

Saturday:

Gates

Sunday:

Track/ Pump track
