I have decided that at least a couple of days a week I want to go to the skatepark and learn some tricks. This is mainly to build up my skills on the bike for racing but it is also to have something to focus on and to be able to play more when riding around town.
I want to learn the following tricks over the next 6 months or so:
- Manual
- Bunny Hop
- Bar Spin
- 180
- 360
- Crank Flip
- Fakie
- Half Cab
- Tail Whip
- Wall Ride
- Tire Slide
- Foot Jam
- Nose Bonk
- Nose Press
- Tail Tap
- Double Peg Grind
- Crank Arm Grind
- Rail Ride
- Crooked Grind
I can do the following at the moment on the track and from when I was a kid but I am not very good at them so I will work on these first and then move onto the other tricks:
- Manual
- Bunny Hop
- 180
- Nose Press
- Double Peg Grind
I really need to work on my manuals and bunny hops for racing so I will concentrate on these first and then move on to picking another trick to focus on after this. I have been wanting to learn hop bar spins and hop crank flips for ages so I think they will probably be next on the list. I have no time-frame on learning the trick but would like to start learning new trick in a months time. I am thinking that this will give me enough time working on manuals and hops to get me good enough to progress to hop crank flips and hop bar spins by then.
