I was feeling better today but decided not to get up early this morning and to instead sleep in until 6:30 and then work until 7ish then shower and ride into the office for 7:30. When I got up I did my weigh-in and I was up 0.1kgs to 109.4 kgs this morning which is pretty good seeing I ate a massive Sunday lunch at the pub near my parents and had a few pints of beer as well!
The ride into work was pretty non-eventful other than part of the river footpath near my office being flooded but I went a different way anyway so it was not an issue! The ride home was a bit more eventful as the river had risen significantly bet the rime I rode home at 1 ish so I had to go a different way to get around all the floods. I am still struggling to breathe and had to walk a fair bit on the way home too which was a bit annoying but I can’t expect to be back to 100% so quickly I guess!
It is now 20:30 and I am still trying to get to 12000 steps on the tradmill after getting to 10000 doing the backwards walking on top of the walking that I did in the office today! Even the walking is a struggle today but I am going to struggle on and get it done before the end of my on call shift! I only have 1000 steps to go so even walking slowly I will get there soon!
I am going to give rucking a miss this week but I will try and walk first thing without the weight vest to try and get back in the habit of waking up and then walking before starting to work then I can at least try and drop weight while I recover from the lurgey that I had last week!
I got to 12000 steps by 20:30 so stopped and chilled.
