So is woke up with my alarm at 5 am and I am feeling a lot better than I was yesterday so that’s a good sign 😁. That being said I’m still not feeling 100% so I decided to stay local today so I am chilling until 6:30 then I will get ready and go for a walk to see how my body reacts to walking and then decide from there.
I have just done my weigh-in and was shocked to see that I am down to 101.3 kgs so down another 0.8 kgs from yesterday and I am now down to my lowers weight of the year and 5.4 kgs lighter than I was on the 1st Jan so making progress slowly!
I am certain that if I keep eating better and exercising consistently I can hit my goal of getting under 100 kgs and into double figures by the end of the month 😁
The coaching at the track finishes at 13:30 so I will get up there for about 13:00 and set up the timing system and see if I can get it all working together before having a play on the gate once training finishes at 13:30.
So about 8:30 I sstarted feeling ill again and went back to sleep until about 12:00 so I cancelled all my plans for the day and I will have another ill day! The only thing that I have planned for today is to raise the back bar on the bike stand so the tyres actuclaly rest on them and if I feel like it I may also mess with some of the bikes!
The jerseys arrived about 12:30 as well as the brake lever and lucky 8 ball valve caps and some other bits and the cranks and dxr calipers are arriving this afternoon so I should have most things to get the Cult 100% done and the S&M 95% done (Just waiting on the half link chains to finiosh it).
I have jsut ordered a pair of size 36″ waist Staystrong race pants as an interim measure as the 34″ ones fit but I can’t close the flys so I need to lose a bit more weight until they fit. I figure that the 36″ ones will be a bit big but they have a really good belt fastener so they will not fall down unlike the Fox ones which fall down after about 1/2 a lap!
The other set of DXR cranks and the 2 sets of DXR calipers arrived this afternoon so later today I will get the Cult up and running fully so I can start riding it when I want to.
So I have just bought some 24″ Cult race forks as they were down to £109 with free postage so I will put them onto the Cult and then put the Odessey Forks that came with the Cult onto the Sunday Wave C and I will build the Sunday back up brakeless and with 4 pegs and then I will have 2 brakeless 4 peg bikes to choose to ride in the skatepark. It will also mean that I can drag my son to the skatepark too and he will have a bike to ride! I just need to find a set of bars to go on the Sunday as the ones that are on it at the moment are a bit high and chrome and I would like black bars if possible! The chrome ones will do for now until I can find a different set!
I have just found a set of black 7.75″ Odyssey Civilian BMX Bars on Waller BMX so have bought a set for the Sunday! So the sunday will have Oddessey forks and bars now.
