Day 2 – Wednesday 8th November 2023
This morning I woke up at 5am ad normal but decided not to walk as my ankle is still sore! I will tray again this afternoon when I have the dog with me as she will need a walk anyway so I can’t put it off like I have been.
I walked the dog after work and before my on call shift started and we did my little loop on the 2 tunnels apart from the loop through the park was not passable as there was a massive lake at the edge of the park where I usually loop around so we had to turn back and walk back the way we came. Apart from this the walk was really enjoyable and my ankle felt much better. Its amazing how much better walking with a dog is! It is much more relaxing and I feel a lot better about doing it!
By the time we got home I was on 6548 steps and my stomach was growling so I have just had a clear out which means weight loss 🙂
I guess the walking is freeing up all the wasted backed up in my colons as I am really clearing out at the moment which is really making me look thinner 🙂
We are chilling for a couple of hours while I do the on call stuff then we will go for an evening walk after the doggo has had her tea! Hopefully this will get me over 10000 steps for the day if nothing goes wrong on the builds meaning I have to cut our walk short I may even get the 12500 steps in!
Just got back from our evening walk and I am on 9919 steps so I will definitely be over 10000 steps for the day by the time I go to bed.
By the time I went to sleep I was on 10147 steps so over 10000 steps which is fine.
I have decided that I will lower my step target back to 10000 steps as that is enough walking for anyone really! Especially once I start adding cycling, bodyweight exercises and sports specific exercises going forwards. I do want to try and keep to around 10000 steps a day but I am not going to go for late night walks to get to my 10000 steps target as my rest is as important as walking if not more so.
