I woke up wide awake at 4:30 this morning so I did my weigh in and was surprised to see that I have actually put in weight and I am up to 108.4kgs this morning even though I am visibly more toned than I was yesterday! I guess I have put on muscle but not sure! This is the issue with daily weigh ins as they can actually have a negative affect if your weight goes the wrong weigh! I’m still going to do them but I am going to go more on my eyes than the scales!
I have a really bad sore throat which could be lack of water for the past month and the amount of walking that I did yesterday or it could be that I’m still sick! I’m hoping it’s the former so I’m going to drink a pint of water and see how I feel!
So I have just got back from my morning walk with the new route and I overestimated how long the hill to the cemetery was! It was actually exactly 1 mile:
It also only took 21:38 to get there too so less than the estimated 30 minutes! I then walked along the flat to the the next junction and then headed back home. When I got back to my road it was only 45 ish minutes so I did my usual small loop to get the walk just over an hour (1:08:36). In that time I walked 3.89 miles, 8250 steps, climbed 392 ft and burned 769 Cal so a really good start to the day!
It was really cold this morning so as well as my usual 2 t-shirts and a nike windsheeter I had to add a hoodie and even though I was climbing for 1 mile straight away I never felt too warm so I think I got the layers just right! Winter is deffo here and I will soon need to wear my Carhart Jacket in the mornings 🙁
I am feeling way better than I did yesterday so I am going to chill for an hour and then get changed and go out on the MTB to the track to see where we are going to put the sprint lines on the new tarmac driveway 🙂
