Day 10 – 17/11/2023

This morning I was really tired so I went back to sleep until 7:30 when my alarm went off at 5am. I am working until 22:00 tonight so I figured that it was better to rest than walk this morning. I will try and get a walk in later this afternoon before my call at 16:45.

I am not riding this lunch time either as I need to do some housework instead. I will go for a ride tomorrow morning to make up for missing today!

Apart from feeling tired my body has recovered really well from the ride yesterday even though I bonked pretty hard on the way home which is good.

At about 18:30 myself and my son walked to my office and I did a bit of work and then we walked to the supermarket and did some shopping and then walked home. This meant that my steps for the day went from just over 2000 (2200) steps to 10940 steps so my 10000 steps was done for the day even though my bike ride wasn’t.

However, I’m glad that I didn’t go for a ride at lunch time as I organised the cables to my second desk and my vinyl cutter so that is now fully setup and working and my work flow is way better too 🙂

I also swept through the house, did the washing up and caught up on my washing so tomorrow I am free to walk into the office early and then get home for about 8am and then ride up to the track and grab my helmet as I still need to do the stickers for that.

The seat post shim for my jump bike arrived this afternoon so the Jump bike is now rideable again!

IMG 3643The Jump bike is now rocking my Custom S&M camo seat that I bought from Seattle BMX when I was working in Seattle and also the new Burgtec mk4 pedals that arrived yesterday!

I really like the way the seat looks and its my favarite and always brings back memories of riding around Seattle on my BMX with this seat and post on it 🙂

Now the bike is complete I am going to take it to the track tomorrow and swap it for my OS20 as I want to work on my jumping until after xmas when the new gate is finished being installed at the track. Then I will start using the OS 20 again to do gates and also sprints.
