This week has been crazy at work so I haven’t been eating too well this week! This has shown as I am back up to 103.4 kgs 🙁
This morning i woke up at 5:30 without an alarm and then got up did my weigh in and then showered and got dresed and rode the GT Power Series 24″ to the office. Every time I ride this bike I am amazed about how fun it is to ride! The wheels roll so well and the Halo Clickster freewheel is amazing and is sooo loud! The bike just feels right! Apart from the bars and stem which are crap the bike is basically perfect for riding around town with the long seatpost on!
I think that I am going to use the GT as my roller bike during the winter as its so nice to ride! It also has 14mm axles si the forks are super strong and will be perdect for the rollers if I need to use the fork support while I get used to using them.
I will be picking up the Supercross and DK from my friend tomorrow so I will build up the DK as my pump track and riding to work bike from the weekend when I build it up! I really like this bike too and iot has a Profile Elite freewheel which is like a Halo clickstyer on steroids! 🙂
Whan I get the Supercross I will take off the cranks and put them on the Curtis and then the cranks from the Curtis will go onto the DK as well as the front wheel wheel which is from the DK anyway. I have some 20mm Staystong forks in the garage so I will replace the DK forks with them as they are better.
I am going to get my Standard back and put the Onyx back wheel onto it and put the brake and lever on the DK as well and then I will hang the rest of the Supercross on the wall as I don’t really want to ride it at the moment!
Once I have all 4 bikes built up I will have 4 really good bikes and also the supercross to build up when I feel like riding it! I will keep the Halo freewheel wheel in the garage to use on the Standard over the winter to train in and not mess up the Onyx rear hub in the wet muddly winter weather!
