IMG 3339 scaledSo this afternoon I got my Chase RST 2.0 OS20 Conversion build built up and I took it to the track this evening for a quick play and I have to say that I really like the way that it rides although I am not entirely sure that I like riding a Ali frame any more! I will have to put up with this frame for now until my Standard arrives as I don’t want to waste any more money than I have to on this build!

The bike rides really well and the gearing is pretty much spot on as far as I can tell although I will be able to tell better tomorrow when I put my HT Clipless pedals on there and do some gates on it!

I am thinking that I will maybe race the Chase on Friday night in the club race to see how I go on it then! The only thing that I have noticed about riding the bike this evening was that the bottom bracket feels a little high but I’m sure that I will get used to it soon.

I am a little torn about riding the Chase as I am really loving riding the Curtis and I seem to be getting better every time that I ride it but I’m sure that I will get used to the Chase soon enough and I am sure that I will like the Standard when it arrives at the end of the year as it is a steel frame like my Curtis so I expect it to feel similar to the Curtis to ride.

Talking about Curtis I spoke to Gary today and he said he can make me an OS20 frame when I want one so I will most likely get him to build me one up soon so that it is ready to race next year.
