I woke up at 5:15 as planned and got up and rode/ walked to the track as planned. It took me 35 minutes to get there so slightly longer then normal which is to be expected as I had to push the bike as well. I did a few jumps and then headed home which took 6.26 minutes to do 1.74 miles 🙂 I then got showered and changed and rode the DMR to work.
When I got to work I realised that I had forgotten my fitbit as it was on charge in my bedroom so there will be no steps count today 🙁
Apart from forgetting my fitbit today was really successful exercise wise as I got my timings right for the time that it takes to go to the track and back and got a bit of a ride in as well before work. I was a lot happier all day at work so it was really worth it. I did a lot of walking in the office while I was working too so I am feeling pretty good about myself today.
On Sunday I changed the front tyre DMR from a 2.30 Maxxis DTH to a 2.15 Maxxis DTH and the bike felt much better than it did before so I am feeling way more comfortable on it now too. I plan to get another folding 2.15 DTH at some point but the normal one will do for now.
I also received a call from Gary from Curtis Bikes to say that my new frame is off for braising tomorrow so it should be ready by the middle of next week sometime so that’s great news.
