Back to BMX Training day 26 – 26/01/2024

So yesterday I setup my white board to track my daily tasks with stickers so that they have permanent names as the one that I made for walking 15000 steps looked so good that it made the hand written names look so bad! So I cut out all the task names on my vinyl cutter and the board looks really good:

This morning I woke up with acid reflux at 3:30 and couldn’t get back to sleep so I got up and started installing a Raspberry Pi to use as my docker server to run the software that I use at home. I also documented a few things on my IT blog as well so I have actually done my learning & blog hour for the day already and its only 5:30 🙂

I am now getting showered and dressed and walking into the office to do some stuff and also to tick off my walking before work task as well 🙂

By the time I got home from the office it was 7:00 and I was on 6807 steps so a good chunk of my 15000 steps for the day done 🙂 I am also feeling much better after the walk so I really need to get my act together and get up every morning! I know once I get back into the habit of getting up and walking in the morning I will find it easy again but its just forcing yourself to get out of bed for the first week or so then its fine! I have also started the day off well as I have ticked off 3 tasks for the day already and its only 7am 🙂

At lunch time I went to the track and did 10 x 15m sprints and then did a bit of riding and then did some track maintenance as the badgers had dug up most of the 4th straight so it needed filling in before someone hurt themselves riding in it. I wasn’t bothered though as the sun was shinning for the first time in ages so I was happy to be out in the sun 🙂

By the time I got home I was now on 10184 steps so not many steps to get in tonight! I also don’t have too much to do tonight to make kitchen and living room liveable either and I should have enough time left of my 30 minutes tonight to blitz the bathroom as well 🙂
