So as I finished work at about 22:30 last night I didn’t get to sleep until gone 11pm so when I woke up to my alarm this morning at 5am I really didn’t feel like walking so I didn’t :- ( I stayed in bed until about 6am then got up did my weigh-in and then started work again! I was back up to 107.6kgs again today which shows that I need to sort my diet out as losing and gaining 0.5 kgs in a day is not good! I’m still 0.1kgs lighter than Monday but still its not good! And I have basically undone the weight loss from Monday in one rest day! I most defiantly need to change my diet and also start having active rest days on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays to make sure that I am doing light rides on the mtb to keep the weight loss going downwards!
I have been non stop since then so I haven’t been able to walk on the treadmill even 🙁 Because of this it is 11:55 and I am only on 719 steps for the first 7 hours of my day 🙁
I am just off to the track hopefully do my 30m sprint session for the week if the ice has melted enough to be safe to do them! I am going to leave the car in the car park and walk to the track so that I can make up some of the missed steps from this morning but it is looking like I will be doing a lot of walking on the treadmill this afternoon/ evening! Luckily I am on call so its not a big deal as I can’t do anything else anyway 🙂
I got my 10 x 30m sprints done as planned and then did some practice on the 2nd straight trying to get my pedal manual on the table top back which I did and I even got a couple of pedal manual the table to manual the 2nds in so a very successful session!
This afternoon/ evening I need to get another 11184 steps in before bedtime as I am currently only on 3816 steps for the day!
So its 17:30 and I am still only on 7558 steps and counting so just over half way! Its going to be a long evening I think 🙁
At about 19:00 I stopped walking as the treadmill was smelling hot again so I watched a bit of a film until about 20:10 then things started to fail and I had to do some work again so I started walking on the treadmill again and got to 15000 steps just after 20:30 so I stopped walking.
By the end of the day I had got in a respectable 15651 steps so happy with that although the majority of the steps were on the treadmill which is not ideal but better than only getting about 3000 steps in for the day 🙂
