Back to BMX Training day 11 – 11/01/2024

This morning I woke up with an alarm for the first time in ages which was not very enjoyable to say the least! This was mainly because I was on call last night so it was gone 11pm when I got to sleep! My fitbit is saying that I had 6 hours sleep so 11pm is about right which is an hour less sleep than I normally get.

I got up and did my weigh-in and I an back up to 107.7kgs again even though I am deffo less fat! We will see how my body composition has changed when I take some measurements in the 1st Feb!

After my weigh-in I went for my morning walk which was about an hour and I walked 7261 steps so Just under 1/2 of my steps for the day done and its not 7am yet!

I am on a half day today so I am going to the track to get my sprints in then I will either ride at the track or go to the pump track to see how that is. I will most likely stay local at the track as I don’t have a lot of petrol left and its not pay day until Monday 🙂 I will go early doors Sunday to get the timings etc so I can start going next week!

I have been looking at my steps for the month so far and all the days doing 15000 steps has meant that I am now on an average of 11837 steps a day for the first 10 days of January. A couple more days of doing 15000 steps a day and I will be at 12500 steps a day average. I am actually thinking of keeping the 15000 daily goal as I am definitely feeling a lot stronger from it. It also means that I have to be a bit more active in the afternoon/evenings to make the 15000 steps which I thing is a really good thing! 

I thought yesterday that my body was used to the sprints already but when I woke up this morning my legs had full on DOMS which is good in that it means the sprints are working but its a bit annoying having to do sprints today with heavy legs! My legs are less heavy now after walking so hopefully they will be OK by lunchtime!
