So I got back from my holiday on Friday and I have started back with my morning routine this morning only to find that it is now dark at 5:15 in the morning when I start my morning walks! In fact I didn’t see the sun at all this morning on my walk even though I was back home at 6am 🙁
Because of this and the fact that I need to start to regularly do weights to try and fix my shoulder and knee issues I have decided that I will join the gym down the road today and start working out Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri every week and get my steps in walking to and from the gym instead of going for a walk!
I received an email promotion to save my £15 admin fee but it is not working so I will call the gym later and get that saving and join the gym ready to workout on Thursday morning early.
While I was away I didn’t manage to get my 12500 steps a day in but I was pretty active and I have lost 1.7kgs in just over 9 days so I am now back down to 106.6 kgs when I did my weigh in yesterday in the morning! A lot of the weight loss is due to not drinking fizzy drinks and eating more healthily and some of it will be lost water weight as I haven’t got back into the habit of drinking water again yet due to my water filter being mouldy from not being used while I was away 🙁 I am going to de-mould it today and change the cartridge so that I can get back to drinking more water again from today!
Over the weekend I built up my OS20 conversion as the OS20 forks arrived while I was away. It is just missing some brake adapters and rim tape and it will be ready to ride 🙂 I am really happy with how the build turned out and I really like the way the chrome Chase Frames look.
