Messed up my shoulder

So yesterday I was moving shoulders and one slipped and when I counter acted it my collar bone popped and now its a bit sore so I have had a chill day today and hopefully it will be better by Monday. I had a lie in this morning as a result and got up at 6:30 this morning instead of 5 am. I did my weigh-in and I am up 0.2 kgs to 109.2 kgs today even though I am feeling a lot thinner and my clothes are fitting better so I think that I am losing body fat but gaining muscle!

BMX has all been cancelled this weekend as there is a storm coming with up to 60 mph gusts so not looking like I will be riding outside so I will use the weekend to get the extra bikes out of my garage and the TV trolley and stick them in the new container and then I can sort my garage out a bit and hopefully get the bikes out of the lounge sand into the garage! I am hoping to then move my backwards treadmill back into the lounge and then I can build my gym area in my bedroom again to do upper body weights in the evening as I am struggling to go to the gym. Next week I am going to try and get to the gym to do legs but upper body I can do at home after work as its easier and faster! I will also bring the rollers in and start riding on the rollers for an hour a day to learn how to use them!

I have been looking back at my historical weight over the year and I have actually put on 1.9 kgs since the start of the year BUT I am definitely much fitter and feel a whole lot better so all of my training has not been in vain!

This month I really need to focus up on getting consistent with leg days in the gym and home workouts for upper body and also start using the rollers in the evening too to start building more muscle and dropping more fat too. I also want to be as consistent as possible at lunch times at the track too. I will be really busy with the office move until the end of January so the lunch times may be a bit sporadic for now but once that is done I can start to get into a routine and start getting sorted. Also not focusing too much on the track will mean that I can build a good base fitness for when I start doing sprints in February/ March next year so hopefully my body will be able to cope with them then!

I am definitely being more consistent about getting up and going to the office and working in the office until lunch times and it has made it way easier to get my 12000 steps in so I haven’t had to do much walking on the treadmill this week and I have hit 12000 steps or more every day this week so that’s a massive improvement on last week so I think I will keep this up once the office move has been completed. Next week I get alarm codes for the new building so I will be able to come into the office way earlier so I can get more done before 9 am ad that will help with getting out of the office and home by 11:30 ish so I can get ready and get to the track by 12:00.

An added bonus of being in the office in the morning is that I am intermittent fasting without trying and I have also cut out the fryup sandwiches that I had been eating every morning which caused a lot of the weight gain in the first place so that’s an added bonus 🙂 That being said I have just ordered one as I am having a cheat day today as I’m depressed that I am hurt again 🙂
