Hurt knee and still ill

So I am still feeling crappy from the man flu that I have had all week and yesterday I hyper extended my knee as well so that is really hurting as well! I was also up to 108 kgs again this morning so not a good morning for me 🙁

I will start back walking first thing tomorrow as I need to get the weight loss moving in the right direction ASAP!

I am on a half day today so I am planning to hit a pump track and test out the S&M .38 Special as I haven’t ridden it yet and I really want to test it out.

Over the weekend I will hit either pump tracks or BMX tracks both days to try and get back on it as well as hit my 10000 step goal as well. I am hoping that my magnetic monthly planners arrive today so that I can start using that to track when I walk and when I don’t so that I can easily keep track of my consistency over the coming months!

I am going to ease back into training by walking and doing the gym next week and then add sprints the week after when I am hopefully feeling a lot better. So this week in the mornings I will be doing:

Monday – Walking

Tuesday – Gym

Wednesday – Walking

Thursday – Gym

Friday – Walking

I think that Tuesday – Friday at lunch time I will go for a light mtb ride along the Bath to Bristol cycle path to try and get my weight moving in the right direction then then week after the track will be open again so I can start riding to the track on the mtb and doing sprints and track work in my lunch break before riding home again. I plan to focus on the following skills on the track:

Tuesday – Manuals

Wednesday – Sprints + First Straights

Thursdays – Jumping

Friday – Sprints and Full laps

Today I am going to get the GT and DK up together to get them up for sale to get them out of the way as I have way too many bikes so I need to get rid of some. I am also going to get the Dialled 20″ up together as well and get rid of that too if I like the S&M that is. I am thinking that I will build up the Pro Dialled frame with all the parts from the Pro XL one then I can keep the blue one to use if I want to and still get some cash back for the Pro that I will never use! I am also going to get the Cult race frame up for sale too as I’m not going to use that any time soon. I am going to keep the Cult forks and put them on my StayStrong so that I can use the same front wheel as the rear wheel on the bike then I can use the Wheel off of the Staystrong on my Son’s bike and then put the wheel from my Son’s bike back on the DK so that I can sell that! I am also putting a brake on the DK as well then it is fully up together and ready to put online.

I bought all of the parts to get the GT a while ago so I have to fit a Front Sprocket, Freewheel and brake caliper bolts then it is ready to go up for sale too.  I have just bought a 44t Jet chain ring so that I can get the Dialled Pro up together and ready to sell as well.

I have decided that I don’t want to sell the DK so this weekend I will clear out the shed and then it can live there and I will use it as my ride to work bike as it is worth way less than the StayStrong and its worth more to me for sentimental reasons than I would get for it if I sold it so I’m going to keep it. I have no attachment to the GT or the Dialled pro so they can go still.
