Still a bit rough

So this morning I woke up at 4:30 without an alarm then napped until my 4:45 alarm and got up and did my weigh-in and I was up 0.1kgs from yesterday to 103.5 kgs! I was feeling feverish again so I decided not to go into the office today and to hold off on walking first thing too as I don’t want to get worse from over doing it!

After my weigh in I got the clothes out of the tumble dryer and organised them and put the pants and socks away and put the t-shirts neatly on the arm chair to fold and put away later today and then went back to bed until 6:30 when I got showered and dressed and then at 7:00 I started work so 30 minutes early still!

When I checked my emails I had confirmation that the Metal Working Fluid (MWF) will be here today so I will be able to get the bottom bracket re-threaded this evening ready to fit the new bottom bracket when it arrives. At lunch time today I will swap over the SLX Cranks that I removed from the Dialled MX20R onto Cult so that I will have the DXR’s from the Cult ready to fit on the Dialled when the Forward Bottom Bracket gets delivered from Crucial. The 20mm washers are also in the post so when they arrive I will be able to use them to make the 20mm/10mm fork adaptors fit the Cliq forks and then I can put them on the Dialled too to finish the build off! The 200 chrome brass halo nipples have also gone out so they will be at my friends house soon so he can get on with the wheel builds too so the Standard OS can finally get built up and also the front wheel for the Curtis can go on and the Curtis wheel can go onto my Son’s Supercross and then the DK wheel that is currently on the Supercross can go back on the Supercross and then I can get the DK built back up and sold! This week I will also get the GT out of the garage and get that fully built up, cleaned and on the internet to sell too. I am still waiting on the new bars for the Sunday 24″ to arrive then I can get that built up and on the internet to sell too a it is just hung on the wall taking up space when it could be sold too!

I have been thinking about the bike builds and I think that I will get the Profile mini hubs that are currently wheels on the Cult built up on the 20″ Sun Envy rims that are arriving soon and then put the wheels on the Dialled and put the Dialled wheels on the S&M and then build up the Dialled Pro Frame that I have up with all the spare parts that I have lying around and then sell that too as it is also never going to be used so is just taking up space on the wall! I think that I have pretty much everything to build it up other than maybe handlebars but I’m sure I can get a second hand pair from somewhere to get it running again. I will see if the club wants it to use as a club bike and if not I will sell it online.

At the moment I am planning on selling the following bikes:

DK

GT

Pro Dialled

DJ bike

Sunday 24″

Maybe the Cult Race bike too (Still Unsure!)

Also when I get my old Curtis back I will sell the Standard 125R 24″ too as I will then use the Old Curtis as my winter Cruiser to train on.

I also bought a set of Ti Halo wheel bolts to put on the Dialled wheels (or S&M id they get put on there) as the bolts on there are a bit chewed up.

I have just got confirmation that the new rims arrive today and the socket to put the bearings back in arrived too so I think that I will just rebuild the old mini rear hub that I have and use that for now and keep the Cult wheel set as they are for now (24″ wheelset).

The Dialled is now on the bike stand waiting to be built up once the bottom bracket is re-threaded and the bottom bracket arrives. I have also washed the SLX cranks and I will get them installed on the Cult this afternoon sometime.

So I have put the 42T sprocket on the SLX cranks and with the DXR’s it had no tight spot and with the SLX’s it has a tight spot so I think I will leave them on but change them out when I get the Forward cranks back off my friend when I see him next!

To be honest I think that I am going to break the Cult down and stick it on the wall as I really like the look of it but don’t need it to ride really. I may actually break it down and sell it at some point but I will keep it on the wall for now so the SLX’s will be fine!

I will be using the Dialled to ride about on for now anyway as its cheaper than the Cult and I really want to get used to riding the 20″ again!

I will also have the Standard 125R OS20 built up soon and the S&M .38 Special so I don’t need all of these bikes! Once the Standard is ready I may just keep the Dialled as my riding about bike and a pump track bike for my Son and then I will have the S&M as my pump track bike. This all depends on which bike I like the most as I may well sell the Dialled  or the S&M or both once the OS20 is working.

I have just bought a rear Profile Elite Disk hub and a Halo rim and I will get them built up and use them on the Curtis for this coming year as I not racing so I will keep my Onyx wheel for when I race. I noticed that the Onyx wheel has some wobble to it so it needs to come off and get looked at anyway. This will mean that both the OS20 and the Curtis will have identical rear hubs so it will be easier to switch between the 2. This also means that I can sell both the Cult and the Standard as well as the GT and the Jump bike! And I will get my other Curtis back and keep the 2 Curtis, OS20 Standard, S&M .38 special, the Dialled MX20R and the Black Market.

This afternoon when the MRT arrived I re-threaded the Dialled’s bottom bracket so when the new Forward Bottom Bracket arrived the bike will be ready to go. I have also got the DXR cranks ready to go with the 44t Chain ring installed and torqued up so when the BB is fitted it can be installed and then the chain sorted out.

I also bought some Box One Chain tensioners from Source BMX as I think they work the best on the Dialled frames apart from the Profile ones which are out of stock everywhere at the moment 🙁 I will try the box ones on the S&M too as there is a weird space on the Speedline chain tensioners where they are too short for the dropouts!
