Morning walk done

So this morning I woke up at 5 as planned and did my weigh-in (Down 0.1kgs to 102.9 kgs) then showered, got dressed and walked to the office in the dark 🙁 Winter is deffo here!

I then did some work that I needed to do then about 6:30 I walked home. The walk home was better as the sun was rising so I could walk along the river which is better than the other way I walk when its dark 🙂 by the time I got home I was on 7626 steps so that is a really good chunk of my 10000 daily steps done 🙂

I am thinking that I will just do this every morning so I get my steps in and also get to do some quiet time work as well 🙂 I may start working in the office in the mornings then heading home at 11:30 so that I can head out to the track when I get home and do my sprints or track sessions without turning on my laptop and getting distracted 🙂

I have a bunch of deliveries arriving today so I am not going to get to the track at lunch time again but hopefully by the end of the day I should have the Cult to build up, my new smaller race pants and the rest of the bits needed to build the Cult as well so I can get that built up and test it out at the pump track at the weekend 🙂 I have decided to wait to start sprints until I get 175 mm cranks as sprinting on 180 mm feels odd and I may as well wait until Monday to start sprinting.

I have decided that I will do 10 meter, 30 meter and 60 meter sprints as 60m is the longest I can do at the track so I can’t do 100 meter sprints there. If I feel the need to do 100 meter sprints I can go to the spot near the office but that would have to be in the morning or later at night as its really busy there! I should hopefully get my bunny hop bar this weekend too so I will be able to start warming up with 10 minutes of car park skills (manuals, pedal manuals and bunny hops) to try and start getting better at the flat skills by doing a little bit every day and see how it goes 🙂 When I am at the track next I need to re-measure and mark my sprint lines and a 10 meter manual line so I can do manuals on the way up, do a bunny hop then turn around and pedal manual back.

The bigger Crupi I-Beam stem arrived just before lunch today so I have swapped it onver and it looks better but I’m still not 100% sure that I like the blue on blue but it will do and the colour doesn’t make any difference to how the stem works so its all good 🙂

I guess when I’m riding the bike I will not notice the colour of the stem so its all good. I will keep an eye out for a black one but for now it will work!

I have got a lot of notifications about deliveries today so hopefully they hurry up and arrive although its looking like gates will be cancelled so I will be in all day after all 🙂

So I have just had the S&M 29er Handlebars and the OS20 tyres arrive as well so all of my orders are starting to arrive. Still no sign of the Cult Race Frame or the bottom bracket that I need to build it up still but hey its still early!

So the bottom bracket and race pants have just arrived and I am now definitely a 34″ waist in race pants so even though my weight has not dropped too much I have deffo lost fat 🙂 I was a 38″ waist at the start of the year and I am not a 34″ so that’s not bad going really! I will now concentrate on my diet and exercising consistently again and try and focus on dropping weight as I would like to get under 100 kgs by the end of the month! I really need to go back to being 100% carnivore too as that seemed to work really well for getting the weight to drop off!

This evening I have been getting the parts ready for the Cult when it arrives so I have swappped the Maxxis dth tyres off of the Halo wheels that will go onto the Cult and swapped the Tioga Power blocks and the Halo Clickster freewheel off of the GT and then ordered a new Jet 42t sprocket and 18t freewheel off of Source BMX to get the bike built back up and on the internet to sell.

I am also going to sell the DK and the Standard and probably the Cult as well and then get my other Curtis Back and use that for my training and pump track bike and my current race bike for gates and racing.
