I couldn’t sleep after gates last night so it was gone midnight before I went to sleep so I decided to have a rest day today as my knee was really sore so I didn’t put an alarm and I woke up when I woke up. I must have been tired as I woek up gone 9 am!
I chilled all day and enjoyed my last day of holidays other than doing a bit of cleaning in the house that is. I watched a lot of TV and cought up on everything I had missed.
Tomorrow I am up at 5 am and dragging my son to the gym first thing to get a weights session and try and fix my knee.
I have decided to get my shit together and work out at the gym first thing and also ride the track at lunch time as well to work on BMX skills as well! I have decided that I am going to avoid gates for July to avoid my knee pain getting worse. My idea is to go to the gym first thing Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and then try and get a road ride in on Tuesday and Thursday Morning. Monday Lunchtime I will be in the office so I will work through lunch then Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday lunch times to work on bike track skills and start building my full lap fitness by doing loads of pump laps and full lap burners as well.
