I woke up at 4.45 and got ready then put the Curtis in the car and went to Patchway and had a ride on the track for an hours or so. The track and the surrounding area are looking really good at the moment as its race weekend this weekend 🙂
I predominantly did 1st and Second Straights but I got them pretty smooth and fast so I think I will probably race on Sunday but I have decided to pay on the day although it is a crazy £25! It still works out as way less expensive than losing the £17 if I can’t race for whatever reason as the SW BMX Racing Committee has stopped giving refunds or moving the registration to the next round which is crazy!!! So much for BMX being inclusive and a cheap hobby :-
I was at the track from 6:30-8:00 roughly then I headed back to Bath as I had an appointment at 12:30 so wanted to make sure that I was home in plenty of time!
When I got home I showered and got changed then chilled and watched tv until 12:00 when I rode the mtb into the office and dumped it there then walked to the bank. When I got back to the office I did some work for an hour and then headed home and watched TV gain until 19:45 when I went to the track and crapped the club laptop and helped pack the gate away. I then headed to the petrol station and put some petrol on the car so that I could head straight to the track in the morning and then went to sleep.
