Super happy this morning, I woke up before my alarm this morning feeling super rested as I went to sleep at 20:00 last night as I was really tired. When I woke up I did my weigh-in and I was down to 105.8 kgs so I have finally got below 106kgs for the first time in ages! In fact the last time was July 7th 2023 so a long time! This goes to show how being consistent is really starting to pay off and how the task focus instead of goal focus seems to be working for me 🙂
I then got showered and dressed and then went into the office did some stuff and then came home. Going into the office first thing seems to be helping with my walking consistency in the morning as I have something to go in for which seems to me more motivating for me than just walking for the sake of my health for some reason! Its messed up but its working so I’m going to go with it! Going into the office early has also meant that I get a chance to do the things that I never get to do normally and I get some quiet time as everyone else is asleep 🙂
When I got home I was on 6843 steps so a bit less than yesterday but still a big chunk of my 10000 steps done already 🙂 I have to ride/walk to the track today so I will deffo be over 10000 steps before my lunch break is over 🙂 I am doing yesterdays sprints session that I missed as I had to work so over the weekend I will need to do 2 road bike sessions to make up for missing todays sessions. Although I did ride to the office and back so that should really count as a road bike session I guess 🙂
I didn’t get a chance to go to the track again today as work was mental but I did go for a walk along the 2 tunnels with my son at about 2pm so I made sure that I got my steps in at least 🙂
It is 20:30 and I am currently on 13685 steps so with this total I am currently averaging 12266 steps for the year which is pretty good. I have decided that I am going to aim for 12500 steps again as 10000 doesn’t seem to be enough steps and 15000 seems like too many so I think that 12500 may be the sweet spot 🙂
As I have missed Thursdays sprints session again today I will do sprints tomorrow early and also Sunday early too at my new sprint spot on the Curtis. I plan to do 60m sprints tomorrow morning and 30m sprints on Sunday then I will rest Monday and then Start again with 60m sprints Tuesday morning then 30m Thursday and 15m sprints on Saturday as planned.
Tomorrow a bit later I will ride to my parents house with my son then chill there for a while then borrow their car and drive home then take the car back Sunday morning and then ride home so I get 2 long rides in over the weekend to get my 3 long rides in too so I will completed all of my training goals if I get everything done + a bonus BMX ride to the office and back so over achieving 🙂
I also forgot to do my body measurements yesterday so I will do them tomorrow too.
I finished the day on 14006 Steps which is really good to see that I am being much more active even if I didn’t do my sprints again!
