I woke up without an alarm at 4am this morning so I got up and did my weigh in and I am back down to 107.6kgs so I dropped 0.4kgs yesterday from just walking which is pretty good.
I have got a bit of a cold coming I think as my asthma is worse today and I’m coughing and have a sore throat so it’s going to be a fun start to 2024! Not the best start to my holiday either ☹️
I started taking my effervescent vitamin c and d tablets yesterday so hopefully I can get rid of whatever I have quicky!
I was going to do a BMX training session this morning but I think it’s better to rest up as I’m feeling pretty bad and need to be better by Monday to start training!
My new chin up bar arrived yesterday so I will put that up today too so that I am all ready to train on Monday.
I also need to organise my flat and garage this weekend so that I can start training properly on Tuesday as at the moment my flat and garage are a mess and I have nowhere to workout!
So stupidly last night I forgot to take my fitbit back off of my bely clip and put it back on as a watch so I haven’t tracked any steps today at all 🙁 Its really annoying as I have been walking around the house starting to organise it so I have done way more steps than I usually have at this time of day! But according to fitbit I am on 32 steps :0( Oh well doing more steps is better than less steps at the end of the day so this morning was a bonus I guess!
In the afternoon I went up to the track and met up with some friends and got my DH bike back. I had to ride the DH bike home and then walk back to grab the car as as the downhill bike was too big to fit in the car as I forgot an allen key to take the front wheel off! Still it got me from just over 2000 steps when I got to the track to just over 8000 steps when I got home again so I have a lot less steps to do this evening now 🙂
It is looking like the first National that I will do is April the 6th at Cyclopark so I have 96 days or 14 weeks from Monday to get in some kind of shape 🙂 I am still debating if I will do any Regionals this year but I will at least do Cyclopark and Peckham in the south to get practice in for the Nationals there.
I got my 12500 steps in by 18:30 on the treadmill at 4pm so it was a bit harder than when I am working and walking as I was just watching youtube so I didn’t have to concentrate at all 🙂
I am now finishing off my tidying for the day then I will chill for a bit and then go to sleep ready to repeat again tomorrow.
