So I woke up at about 7:45 this morning so I guess that I was tired 🙂 I then got up and did my weight in and I am up 0.1kgs this morning at 106.5kgs which is pretty good considering that I had takeout and a fizzy drink last night at about 7pm! I did do about 6000 steps on the treadmill to make my step count at 9 pm do I’m guessing that that helped!
I decided last night that I am going to do a BMX coaching session this morning to see how my ankle feels. Its the first time back on the bike for 3 or 4 months so I’m going to take it steady but I have to get back on at some point so it may as well be today! If all goes well I can start back training on Monday lunchtime 🙂
I think adding he extra 2500 steps a day is definitely helping to get my weight down so I will stick with the 12500 steps a day goal from now on. Any more than that takes too much time out of the day and becomes a chore so I don’t want the walking to become a negative part of my day as its pretty enjoyable at the moment! The treadmill also makes it way more convenient to get the steps in as I can get a big chunk of the steps in during the day then if I am still short I can go on the treadmill for a while and get them done. No need to go out in the cold and wet and be miserable and suffer to get the steps done 🙂 I have re-adjusted my step goal on Fitbit to 12500 steps now so I can be held accountable.
So Training went better than expected! I was able to do pretty much all of the training and only tweaked my bad ankle a couple of times so very successful! I am feeling really good after the training too!
When I finished the training I did a stocktake/ audit of the club bikes and then packed up from the training and then drove to my parents to give their car back.
As I was there I took the dog for a quick walk to get rid of some of the stiffness in my legs from the training and then I had some food and headed home
by the time i was home I was on just under 7000 steps for the day so I got on the treadmill to get my steps up which is what I am doing at the moment 🙂
By the end of the day I had completed 13142 steps today so well above my 12500 step goal!
