Woke up and did my weigh in again and I am up to 108.2kgs again from 107.9kgs yesterday even though I am feeling much better and way less fat this morning! This highlights the problem with daily weighins I guess as naturally a persons bodyweight fluctuates depending on water consumptions, what they ate/ drank and what exercise was done!
I think that I am going to start doing weekly weigh-ins again from next Wednesday morning so that I don’t too focussed on weight during the challenge. I need to make consistency my main focus for the challenge as being consistent will reap more benefits that being hyper focused on weight in my opinion as weight focus usually means that when I get a bit heavier I over do it and then get sick and have to take time off which benefits no-one!
The wait gain yesterday will most likely be because I caved and bought chicken nuggets, chips and 2 cans of Cherry Coke from the chippy as I didn’t feel like cooking while I was on call! To my credit I only drank one of the 2 cans of Cherry Coke so I am deffo doing better than normal where I would have drank the 2 cans in about 5 minutes! I am going to have one can a day for the rest of the week and then go fully cold turkey next week. I am going to hold off on starting Intermittent fasting until the week after next too as my body is currently adjusting to not having 2-3 L of fizzy drinks in it a day so that is a pretty big adjustment so I don’t want to switch to intermittent fasting as well as it will be too much and I will stop intermittent fasting. By waiting a couple of week it will be easier to adjust to eating later once I am in the habit of drinking lots of water again!
After my weigh-in I got dressed and went out for my morning walk. I am feeling much better this morning so I did a longer route which is about as far as I can walk in the morning without being late to start work!
I walked for 1:04:49 and covered 3.84 miles and did 7880 steps so I am well on the way to getting the 10000 steps already and its only 6:30 in the morning 🙂
Last night I was chatting to my friend and he has started doing sprints on Tuesday nights so starting next week I will be starting to go over and meet him for weekly sprints sessions as well.
I have also borrowed a front cruiser wheel off of a friend so I will be going over to Trow tonight to pick that up and drop it off to my friend who’s daughter is borrowing my spare Cruiser and pick up the front wheel for my Curtis so I can get that working and get it all cleaned up ready to take over to Gary to get it photographed to put it on the Curtis website.
Later this afternoon I am going to get as many bikes as possible from my garage into my car and take them to my parents to clear some space in the garage to use it as an overflow for the club container as the new club bikes are arriving on Monday and there is not enough space in the container for all the bikes. Once the new containers are in place we will have enough space for all the bikes so I can take them back to the track!
By the end of the day I was on a respectable 11523 steps for the day 🙂 This means that for the first 7 days of my Beast Training I averaged 9645 steps a day so just under the 10000 Steps but not too bad for the fact that I was basically in bed for 2 of the days! I will try and make this up before the end of the 30 days to make sure that I average over 10000 steps a day for the month!
