Woke up this morning and did my weekly weigh-in and was surprised to find that I am down to 105.5kgs so I have dropped 1.3kgs this week which is pretty good and shows that cycling helps you lose more weight than walking!
I then went for a bike ride to the track and checked out how much damage the SurRon riders that were at the track last night had done! Luckily it wasn’t too much so that was a good start to the day!
I was surprised that I managed to ride all the way to the top of the hill to the track without stopping although I was super slow and in the lowest gear possible most of the way!
The ride only took 41 minutes and I rode 5.18 miles and climbed 491 ft (about 150m). My average speed was only 7.6mph which is pretty poor but it was up a steep hill! I had to dig a bit deep to get to the top of the hill bit it was pretty enjoyable to be honest! I think that I will try and do this more often to mix things up a bit.
I heard from Gary at Curtis that my new frame will be ready by the weekend so I can hopefully pick it up next Wednesday 🙂 I’m starting to get excited about the frame now even though I can’t really ride it at the moment 🙁
This afternoon I have to go to the track and meet some friends for a ride so I will take my Supercross and have a play on it as I haven’t ridden it for a while and I am not enjoying the jump bike very much!
